We are back talking 162 games of the "Show" as we start the 2K16 Campaign near Hollywood in Orange County California as the new Chicago Cubs started off the 2K16 Season with a "Bang"! That "Bang" heard loud and clear by the Anaheim Angels was Cubs Ace Jake Arrieta and that Cubs Line Up Card putting in work on the Halos and starter Garrett Richards.

"Maddon Ball" wins 9-0 but not after Arrieta (1-0) goes seven frames of scoreless hardball giving up just two hits and striking out six. That Cubs line-up gave Jake early run support as Anthony Rizzo went RBI Single in the 1st for a Cubs 1-0 lead. That was followed by RBI Singles in the 4th from Jorge Soler and Miguel Montero for a Cubbies 3-0 lead heading into the bottom half of the 4th.

Montero then takes Halos reliever Fernando Salas deep for a two-run blast and a Cubs 5-0 lead. The Northsiders would tack on four more runs highlighted by a Matt Szczur three-run two-bagger in the 9th as the Cubbies move to 1-0 and the Halos start off 0-1.

Montero would finish the ball game 2 for 5 with 3 RBIs and a run scored. A rather interesting Cubs line up card had Kris Bryant 5th and Rizzo 4th with Ben Zobrist in the 3rd hold...and in "Maddon Ball" we trust so keep it moving Cubs Nation!
