The Chicago Bulls cannot keep playing without both Derrick Rose and Jimmy Butler one of the best back courts in the "Logo" when healthy. They ran up against a Hawks Squad that has been searching to find themselves playing at home (just 18-12 at Philips Arena in 2015-16) in front of the home folks found that good rhythm on this night vs Chicago.
Behind four Starters in double figures with PG Jeff Teague (19 pts 9 asst) and Center/PF Al Horford (18 pts 5 rebs) leading the way the Bulls were in for it tonight at the new Omni dba Philips Arena. The Bulls starting back court of Tony Snell and E.T. Moore combined for 10 points on 5 for 16 shooting as All-Star Pau Gasol led "See Red" Starters with 16 points and hauling in seventeen boards.
Bulls Bench Mob Leaders of late Doug McDermott starting to come full circle led Chicago with 20 points off the bench as he looks like the Player the Bulls thought they were getting last season as all players adjust at their own pace.
The Bulls inability to get easy looks coupled with their two top Play makers being out in Rose and Butler hampered their offensively all game long. Now no rest for the weary as they get the Rip City Blazers on the 2nd leg of a back to back back at the Madhouse on Saturday Night. Look Bulls Nation if you have not seen Lehigh's C.J. McCollum or Weber State's "Dame" from the "Town" East Bay...they are a treat and just might treat the Bulls on Saturday Night!
