The Florida Marlins have to be one of the surprises in 2014 along with the Milwaukee Brewers. The Dodgers have been somewhat of a disappointment but it way too early to start calling in the "Losers" and "Winners" of 2014. Having said that the Fighting Fish 305 started game 1 of their Three-Game Set with Dodgers Blue before heading to McCovey Cove for four against San Fran Hardball.

The Dodgers get a Three-Run HR from OF Yasiel Puig and solid starting pitching from Dan Haren to get by the Marlins 6-5. Haren went seven innings giving up three runs on seven hits as he gave up a Solo HR to Marlins OF Chris Yelich. Puig has been relatively hit carrying the Dodger Offense as he was 1 for 3 with 4 Ribbies including that Three-Run HR.

Wit the game 6-3 in the 8th in the Dodgers Favor "Boys in Blue" Set-Up Man Brian Wilson gave up a two-run shot to Marlins PH and MLB Vet Reed Johnson to make it 6-5 LAD. Kenley Jansen calmly came in the 9th to get his 12th save of 2014 as the Dodgers move to 21-19. The Fighting Fish fall to 20-19 in 2014 but right there in the mix in the NL East with the Braves Country and Nats.

360 Degrees...Marlins RHP and Ace Jose Fernandez through numerous Media Outlets might have to have season-ending Elbow Surgery and it looks like Tommy John and that is a 2014 Season Momentum Killer for the Fighting Fish 305!
