The Future is now and in the Pelicans Nest in NOLA with State Bird of Louisiana hosting the 2013-14 NBA All-Star Game they get their #1 Pelican in the game. Anthony Davis was selected to play in the ASG replacing the Black Mamba and he faced off with fellow West All-Star at PF and All-Star Starter Kevin Love aka the "Lake Oswego Monster" as it went to a draw.

The Pelicans used a massive comeback in the 4th frame some 37-20 to fold up the T'Wolves as the Pelicans are 1-0 in their newly names Nest. It was the play of Pelicans SG Eric Gordon (20 points) and All-Star Anthony Davis (26 pts 10 rebs) that propelled the Pelicans into the Winner's Circle. Pelicans PG Brian Roberts has been steady as he goes 16 waiting on six Pelicans. It was the +12 from the Arc as the T'Wolves shot some 37 Free Throws top the Pelicans 16 and you cannot get the "W".

Kevin Love led the 'Wolves with 26 points as he grabbed a game-high nineteen Oranges. K.L. did his damage from the stripe with shooting 14 of 17. He missed all, six of his attempts from the "Land of Plenty".  Corey Brewer added 16 while K-Mart dropped 15 with "La Pistola" going for eleven points and six helpers. The Wolves are having the same problem the Wizards are having staying above that vaunted .500 mark.

The Pelicans making a move at 22-27 with the 'Wolves falling two under .500 at 24-26...and they will late look back and say that game hurt!
