The Seattle Mariners have not put the Checkbook down and they keep taking shots at the rest of the AL West and Junior Circuit as they try to get a "Quick Fix". After spending a whopping $240 Million on Dominican Second Baseman and ex-Yankee Star Robbie Cano the M's stay in the Dominican Republic. They try and solidify that back end of the Pitching Staff as they go get Rays Free Agent and Captain Save-A-Game Fernando Rodney.

Rodney gets  two-year $14 Million Deal and will join a Bullpen that needed an upgrade in that department as the Starting Rotation #1 and #2 is Five-Star. Led by Venezuela's Kid Felix and Japan's Iwakuma the M's Starting Staff is right there as well as they could use a #3 in that Rotation.  As for the Pen it looks like 2013 M's Closer Tom Wilhelmsen (24 Saves in 2013) and Danny Farquhar (16 Saves in 2013) will be Set-Up Men to Rodney assuming Closing Duties.

Rodney's Stuff has never been in questioned but it's is ability to not throw Strikes consistently and that's what got him out of town in Tampa. That ALDS vs the Red Sox in 2013 was a Nightmare or Rodney as he just could not get the Stitched One over the Dish. He will get plenty of Chances for the M's as they try to grab some of that Seahawks Momentum and run through the AL West and Junior Circuit for 2K14.
