The Chicago Blackhawks came into their match up with the Anaheim Ducks at 2-1-1 on their current six game Motel Swing Pre-Sochi 2k14 Winter Games Trip. They take it to the Monarchs on Monday Night in Staples and then stayed in the L.A. Area going down to Orange County for some Duck Hunting and the Ducks were on Anaheim Pond with little resistance.

The Hawks arguably hit the Ducks with their best all-around effort of the 2013-14 season as they played June Hawks Hockey with stifling checking, flawless play at the blue line, and Craw-Dad was Fabuloso in Net. Boss Hoss and Captain Serious did the damage on Mighty Ducks Five-Star Net Minder Jonas Hiller.

Team Indian Head struck just :39 seconds into Frame Two with a Hossa Wrister from Sharpie #10 and Rozsival. Ducks Stars Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry did what they do as Perry had more than his fair share of shots on net but Crawford brought his A-Game.  The 2nd Hawks Goal came when Hossa picked a Pocket in the Ducks End and served up Captain Serious Toews for a one-timer at 17:29 in the 3rd. For Hossa that was #24 and Toews #19 on the 2013-14 season.

Hawks Spider in Net "Craw-Dad" moves to 22-8-10 in the 2013-14 season as he had 29 for 29 saves. The Ducks Hiller stopped 23 of 25 shots. The Hawks now move closer to the Ducks with 84 points as Anaheim has 85 points. Now the Hawks will get the Yotes in the "Valley of the Sun" on Friday February 7.
