The Sox get a night from Hot Corner Wichita State Shocker Conner Gillaspie as he leads the Sox Attack going 3 for 4 scoring two runs and knocking in two more including a Two-Run HR off Carmines Starter Brandon Workman. The Pale Hose broke open a 3-3 tie in the 6th with Gillaspie's Blast and then score three more in the 9th to send Red Sox Nation home wondering if 2014 is lost.
Jhonny Danks continues to validate his big payday going 5 2/3 innings giving up three runs on eight hits as he struggled with his command all night long walking four Bo Sox Hitters. He gets the "W" as that scary Sox Pen holds the fort down. Mike Napoli led the Bo Sox going 3 for 3 with an run and RBI as the Carmines fall to 39-51 and they are in the AL East Basement. The Pale Hose moving closer and closer to the .500 mark moves to 44-47 which is seven full games behind the AL Central leading Motor City Kitties.
