Yes Pistons Interim Coach John Loyer most likely had one message for his Pistons after the firing of Lead Man Mo Cheeks after just 50 games..."Men...just play hard". The Spurs unfortunately coming in 301 on their 9-game Rodeo Trip was on the Front End of a Pistons Business Decision and the Pistons took it out on Team Alamo City.

The Pistons leading 59-48 at the break played with an urgency and desire they should have been playing with under Cheeks as there was a clear disconnect somewhere either on that Pistons Bench or upstairs or both. Brandon Jennings led the Motor City with 21 points and six helpers with Combo Guard "Stuck" adding 20. The Front Line of  Greg, Josh, and Dre combined for 41 points, twenty-five rebounds, and five helpers.

The Spurs starting Danny Green at the SF vs J-Smoove and Aron Baynes vs Mr. Drummond was a no go for Team Alamo City. The Spurs Offensive Firepower came from the Pen in Marco Belinelli as he had a team-high 20 points with Boris Diaw adding 12. The only Spurs Starter in double figures was "Dunc" and TP9 as they both net 11 points. The Spurs just didn't guard and couple that with the Pistons running on someone new (Pistons Interim Lead Man John Loyer) they must impress after a head rolled out of the Palace of Auburn Hills Team S.A.S. had to come Max Effort and did not!

Pistons move to 22-29 and can still make a major move as they reside in the East. The Spurs fall to 3-2 on the 9-game trip and 37-15 overall.
