The last NBA Power Rankings has the Regulators OKC in the Top 5 at 28-9. Since the Thunder have been 10-2 and have moved from the 4th slot into the #1 Slot as Gold Swagger trying to hold off those "Dawg Days of the Logo" Demons falls back to #2. The Spurs have struggled of late but are still in the mix. The Heat are lying back in the Weeds like a Tiger hunting its Prey only to strike when they know it's right you Dr. Seuss Mother Goose. The Clippers have played extremely well with PG Darren Collison with the Keys to Lob City. Watch for Team Grit & Grind Beale Street as they make their way out of the Western Conference Basement.

February 2K14 NBA Power Rankings

Note: January's Power Ranking in Parenthesis

1. #RegulatorsReportOKC (4) 38-11: Following someone from the Reaper Family isn't always a good thing but in this case it's straight Margarine as the Thunder have taken off with the 2013-14 NBA M.V.P. Kevin Durant.

2. #GoldSwagger (2) 36-10: They grab Cavs and Sixers Malcontent Center Andrew Bynum and now the word around the Spalding Orange is they have been shopping at the Dinosaurs Museum for Raptors PG Kyle Lowry...Yikes! "Lance of the BK" was an All-Star Snub but Big Fella keep your emotions and game harnessed all those Individual Accolades will come...think Team!

3. #Champs305 (5) 33-13: They are on Interstate 1 going 75 MPH with not a care in the world waiting for the Winning Time...and they have King James and you don't!

4. #RipCity (3) 34-13: they get two to the All-Star Game and deservedly so and I think they will be in play for one more piece to add to that mix to make a run in the West...stay tuned!

5. #SpursCommunity (1) 34-13: No reason to throw out the White Flag but they just ended a three-game skid and that is not cause for concern considering they have no Splitter, K.L. or D.G. of AT&T...slow your roll worrying about Team Pops and R.C.!

6. #CLIPSnation (6) 34-16: they are playing their best Basketball of 2013-14 and they are learning to play without Point God and Jordan Brand's CP3...now take that to your local Bowling Alley!

7. #REDnation (8) 32-17: So many pieces and they are not going to the "Fight for Larry" this season but they have a bevy of Riches thanks to some excellent moves by GM Darryl Morey. Remember they still have Center Omer Asik out there for the taking!The Cup runneth' Full in Clutch City!

8. #PHXhoops (9) 29-18: I know what your thinking NASHty, S.T.A.T. , and the Matrix or even further back with K.L. , Thunder Dan, Sir Charles, Dumas, and the Big O...Oliver Miller of Whoo Pig Sooie! Lead Man Horancek has something brewing in the Desert as it's Operation "PHX Hoops are Back" coming to an NBA Arena near you!

9. #WarriorsGround (7) 29-19: They have been back and forth but they are starting to get a rhythm as they are super dangerous playing behind their #1 Man the "Human Torch" of Under Armour Scooby Doos..."Protect Planet Oracle"...He Will!

10. #Grit&GrindBealeStreet (16) 26-20: The biggest leap in the NBA Power Rankings this month with 2012-13 NBA "Defensive Player of the Year" back into the fold and the recent acquisition of Two-way Shooting Guard Courtney Lee...the Clips nor the Warriors want to see them...I promise you that in Winning Time!

11. #MavsGang (10) 27-21: They have been playing well enough to hold down the #8 slot in the West but they will have to head North to make it to Winning Time...Congrats on Big D's G.O.A.T.  and Favorite Bubble Gum "DIRK-iliscious" for his 12th ASG Appearance.

12. #HighlightFactory404 (11) 25-21: Mr. Milsap to his 1st All-Star Game and he is being rewarded for past and present doings as one of the Logo's Best Kept Secrets. Meanwhile the Hawks are doing what they do the "Spurs Way" behind GM Ferry and Lead Man Budenholzer...Hahahahaha!

13. #Dinosaurs (12) 25-22: The Raptors have a Core at least for now and why they would try and trade PG Kyle Lowry now would be for that Salary Cap only...c'mon GM Masai Ujiri you must keep the former 'Nova Wildcats Star in the Fold for the up and coming Dinosaur Museum as there should be no more Restoration Projects!

14. #WizKidsDC (17) 23-23: Do the John Wall John Wall and yes he is in the ASG 2k14 but no invite to that 28-Man USA Team...Huh! Meanwhile drive that expensive Whip in the Big Verizon Kiosk and keep putting D.C. Wizardry for those who believe there is life after the Bullets and the Cap Centre in Landover....well something like that!

15. #WestSideStoryReport (15) 23-23: they lose Deng to the Cavs and now they are trying to unload everything but Benny the Bull and the LUV-A-bulls. The Bulls play hard because of Lead Man Thibs but can they stir the Croc Pot up this Summer grabbing some top flight Veggies for the Bulls Gumbo?

16. #TWolves (18) 23-24: Like the Wizards they cannot escape being .500 or worse but the "Lake Oswego Monster", Montenego's Pekovic, Brew Crew, and K-Mart of Target along with "La Pistola" is a nice Core moving forward for Team Adelman. 

17. #BrooklynHasBeenGettingWins (20) 20-25: Lookout Dinosaurs Team Prokhorov has figured things out an they are built for Winning Time and not the 82-Game Trek. JJ of Jordan Brand gets an ASG 2k14 Invite...for his January Runnings!

18. #MileHighNUGS (13) 22-23: They lose PG Lawson for a few weeks and their KRYPTOnate for the 2013-14 Season....now Nugs Nation we have some unexpected Turbulence in the Rockies!

19. #StateBirdOfLousiana (19) 20-26: Anthony Davis is "Next in Line" as the nest biggest young star in the Logo and he has plenty of help in NOLA....2-14-15 is when it will go down in the Logo's only Bird's Nest the Pelicans Nest.

20. #MikeCATS (21) 21-28: They are still building but this is the best Unit by far under the Team Air Jordan Era and they miss SF and 2012 2nd Rounder Jeff Taylor out with a Ruptured Achilles...Wow! Taylor was the best of that Vandy Trio of Jenkins (Hawks 2012 1st Rounder) and Ezeli (Warriors 1st Rounder) and of course Taylor going to Bobcats in the 2012 2nd round!

21. #MotorCityPISTONS (18) 19-27: What will they do with "Stuck" Combo G Rodney Stuckey and Greg Monroe as they are moving forward with J-Smoove and Mr. Drummond on that front line?

22. #KnicksTape (22) 19-28: Calm down Knicks Nation 'Melo will not leave the NYC but he won't win either now what?

23. #LAKERgang (23) 16-31: I am hearing Gasol to Suns wit all those Suns Pieces and one of the Morris Twins and Gerald Green plus a Pick has to be involved.

24. #SaltPalaceJazz (28) 16-31: Oozing with talent all over the Jazz have big decision to make including what to do with fabulous SF/Big Guard Gordon Hayward and I will take him on Team Bluedude!

25. #ForEverPurple (24) 15-32: They have @booogieCousins in the Fold after 2K14 but what about Rudy and Isaiah as the revenue and New Digs are coming? 

26. #Cavs (25) 16-31: What do you do with a Team that is young and doesn't play hard if anything that should be their Calling Card? "Kyrie for Mayor" is suppose to be your Leader and is far from it. Cavs have some major internal issues going on and Mr. Fat Head owner Dan Gilbert has to be in the Pile trying to fix it!

27. #GreenTeam (26) 16-33: At this stage would they be willing to move PG  Rajon Rondo and there are about 20 some odd teams that are listening?

28. #SeventySixers (27) 15-33: Boss Hawes and Thad -Ex will be wearing different Unis after the Break maybe even before it. Will "E.T. Phone Broad Street" in Evan Turner be on the move as well?

29. #MouseTownMAGIC (29) 13-36: Laugh now and you will pay around the 2015-16 Season as they might be active at the deadline as well with a few nice young pieces. Their Cap is in really good shape for the 2014-15 Season.

30. #FearTheDEER (30) 8-39: Can they get "Colonel Sander" of Shaka Smart Rams Hoop to buy in and they have a couple nice pieces in the "Knight Rider" PG Brandon Knight and the "Plastic Man of Beer Town USA" PF John Henson and Greek Hoop God to be Giannis Antetokounmpo  among others.
