Former Baylor Bears Star Point Guard and former JUCO National Player of the Year PG Pierre Jackson drops 58 points in a 136-122 win over the Texas Legends. His numbers vs the Legends:

24-33 FG 7-13 3pt FG 3-4 FTM-A 8 Asst 6 Rebs

The ironic thing is Jackson was JUCO 1st Team All-American and National Player of the Year at JUCO Powerhouse College of Southern Idaho where he led them to the 2010-11 National Championship. Two solid seasons playing for Baylor's Scott Drew and the 2013 #42 Pick by the Philadelphia Seventy-Sixers and later traded to Team State Bird of Louisiana.

Before Jackson's  58 point outburst he had six games of of 40 points two in which he went for 46 and 49 respectively. The #1 D-League Prospect for 2013-14 has to be getting called soon. Meanwhile in that same game former UNC Star Shooting Guard P.J. Hairston dropped 25 and Mavericks 2013 1st Rounder Providence Shooting Guard Ricky Ledo dropped 24 for the Legends. . Jackson's Teammate Kevin Murphy from Tennessee Tech added a 39-piece to the pot for the Stampede.

Note: Hairston before his troubles at UNC was a Top 20 on the Bluedude's NBA Draft Board for 2014...the Mavs for sure will add him to the mix later this season or in their 2014-15 Training Camp and that is a steal by Mavs Director of Basketball Ops Donnie Nelson and Owner of the Texas Legends.
