The New York Yankees come into Fenway as we go to press 8 1/2 behind the Carmines and six back in thew AL Wild Card with the Rays and Swingin' Athletics one and two. The Red Sox are trying to hold off the rays and it will be the head to head games in the division that will determine who is going to come out the AL East as the Division winner and the Wild Card. Don't forget about the O's as they sit right in the middle of the Rays and Yankees. Can the Bo Sox slow down the "Fonz" as he has been playing on the O-Zone Layer?

NYY Sabathia (10-10) vs BOS Dempster (6-8)
Pettitte, Kuroda, and Sabathia going for the Yanks as that's how the Rotation played out. Yankees are playing good Hardball as they took it on the chin Thursday but they hammered the Halos most of that series.
The Bo Sox have to be worried about Lackey and Dempster but they might be better than Pettitte and Sabathia at this point as they have both struggled for the yanks for the most part. Neither Team I think is deep enough to make it in October Hardball but we will see how it plays out.
