The National East in 2012 was won by the upstart and talented Washington Nationals and a Staff led led the "Potomac 2-Pack"..S2 and G2...Strasburg and Gonzalez. The Phils were hit by Injuries and bad Pitching in 2012. The Fish couldn't handle expectations then they blow the Clubhouse up.The Amazins' had no direction but signed One Star (Hot Corner David Wright) and let another go (2012 NL Cy Young Winner R.A. Dickey). The Braves couldn't finish the deal in the end. Now the 2013 Season looks like it will be a Two Team Race with the Phils trying to get back into the thick of it.

X-Division Winner Y-NL Wild Card

1. x-ATLANTA BRAVES #ChopTalk...they have the best Bullpen in the Majors in O'Flaherty, Venters, and 5-Star Closer Craig Kimbrel. They go to the Upton House and grab not One but both in Justin and B.J. to go along with RF Jason Heyward and First Baseman Freddie Freeman. The Starting Pitching is led by Greg Maddux Clone RHP Kris Medlen and the Braves will for sure be HOTlanta this summer. The Nats will get the NL Wild Card but they don't have enough Horses like the Braves. Not to mention names like Martin Prado and Dan Uggla....Loaded like a Bake Potato with Chives. 2. y-WASHINGTON NATIONALS #NATitude...they surprised folks until the 2012 Mid-Summer Classic when you pretty much knew they were for real led by RHP Stephen Strasburg and LHP Gio Gonzalez known by Bluedude Heads the "Potomac 2-Pack"..S2 and G2. Their Starters and Bullpen are right there with the Braves and they have Ryan Zimmerman, Adam LaRoche, and Jason Werth to go with Young Star Bryce Harper. Ian Desmond the Nats Young SS will be the Key and if he has an even better 2k13 the Nats and Braves could flip flop.

3. PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES #PhightinPHILS...I wish I knew what happens to a Team that has Three Cy Young Arms in that Rotation and they still are picked to finish 3rd. The Team is centered around Second Baseman Chase Utley and First Baseman Ryan Howard (pictured left) and they are not young. That word "Injury Bug" has Phils Nation worried to the point where they have even lost a little faith in their Phillies. If they can keep that Staff healthy and Utley and Howard can start in about 130 games or more....they might...they just might make some noise in August and September.

4. NEW YORK METROPOLITANS #Amazins...They open up the Check book for All-Time Mets Great David Wright because one they had to and two it was the right move. They did trade 2012 NL CY Young Award Winner RH Knuckler R.A. Dickey to the AL East 'Jays. Now after both of those names and Jose Reyes has been gone for Two Seasons now...where do the Amazins' start. You will see some talented Young Pitchers like RHP Zack Wheeler and RHP Noah Syndergaard but after that...watch the paint dry.

5. FLORIDA MARLINS #Fish...All those expectations in 305 with New Digs is long gone like we have advanced into 2020. Gone are Reyes, Buerhle, and Skip Guillen as well as Marlins Star Hanley Ramirez. Now all that Fish Optimism has turned to back to Dolphins Stadium as we look like the Old Fish. They have One Star they decided to build around and he is the Best Right Fielder in the Show...Giancarlo Stanton (pictured right). After that there is King James and the Heat and the New Aqua Boyz 305 with hopefully for Phins Nation Speedy Butterfinger WR Mike "Da Kid" Wallace. Don't forget when in doubt there is always Ocean Drive and Washington Street Nightlife.
