NBA PLAYOFF'S are about a month and a half away and there was a lot of movement on the February TRADING DEADLINE as there were some Blockbuster Deals and some quiet but solid Roster Impact Deals that will make a difference down the stretch.
BULLS stayed put as they sent F James JOHNSON to RAPTORS for a 2011 1st Round PICK and the BULLS are also coming off an impressive 4-1 road trip that saw them beat the MAGIC and HEAT in the Sunshine State. With PG and Leading MVP Candidate DERRICK ROSE with the KEYS to drive the BULLS are looking like the Future RUN is NOW.
The LAKESHOW having won all 7 games after All-Star Break will be a FACTOR and they still have arguably the BEST CLOSER and BIG in the GAME in the BLACK MAMBA (Kobe Bryant) and the SPANIARD (Pau Gasol). They are starting to play their best basketball as they just smashed the SPURS at the ALAMO yesterday.
The CELTICS stayed proactive towards the end of deadline and shocked everyone by moving C Kendrick "KP" PERKINS and "KRYPTONATE" Nate ROBINSON to the THUNDER for F Jeff GREEN and PF/C Nenad KRISTIC. Will this bolster the CELTS even more?..... The BLUEDUDE says they lose a lot Defensively but get more Scoring and Versatility Offensively.....STAY TUNED.
NOW the NBA Power RANKINGS Top 16 Teams for March 7, 2011 as there is a little shake-up at the TOP:
1. GREEN TEAM 46-15: Adding GREEN and KRISTIC bolsters them Offensively but losing KP who KOBE BRYANT Called the Best Low-Post Defender in the GAME might coat them later on in the PLAYOFFS.
2. SPURS 51-12: That beat down they took yesterday hopefully doesn't hurt their PYSCHE.....but the SPURS might have to think a little bit on what they will see later on in the PLAYOFFS...the LAKESHOW sent them fools a huge Message SUNDAY.
3. BULLS 43-18: They all of sudden look like a runaway train and no team wants to see the TEAM that is in the TOP 5 in 7 major DEFENSIVE Categories....OH!...Did I mention and maybe the 2010-2011 NBA MVP in "POOH" ROSE.
4. LAKESHOW 45-19: It's winning time and look who is playing their best basketball of the YEAR.....No ONE wants to see
KOBE and PHIL in the PLAYOFFS and if you say you do...........YOU ARE TELLING a MYTH....FA SHO
5. DALLAS 45-17: Just steady EDDIE....They do what they do in BIG D......VETERAN Leadership goes a long way and they have their MVP Candidate in F Dirk "the DIGGLER" NOWITZKI...I think they are the #1 NBA Team in TEXAS
6. MIAMI 43-20: Let WADE and JAMES close on different TEAMS they are MONEY...having them try to close on the SAME TEAM.....you are the worst in the LEAGUE with games decided by 5 points or fewer.....and we are on GAME 64...HMMMMMM
7. O MAGIC 40-23: Had a hecka of a game beating M I A on Thursday then come back home on FRIDAY and they were never in it in a loss to the BULLS......they are officially a 2nd Tier Team right now.....Regardless of what Dwight HOWARD does.
8. OKC 39-22: To add Kendrick PERKINS to a Team that is young and pretty formidable now is really scary for the WEST......When they get it clicking full throttle probably by the Start of next year LOOKOUT WEST.
9. A T L 37-26: Kirk HINRICH is the answer at the point......well Jeff TEAGUE still isn't ready to take over the reigns but I think he needs a full training camp where he is the starting PG before anyone has real judgement......They NEED Something else...ANYONE?
10. M S G BOYZ 32-29: Ok now all the HOOPLA for 'MELO and Mr BIG SHOT has quieted down a little....losses to the CAVS twice in about a week and a HALF after 'MELO says losing to them the first time left a bad taste in the KNICKS Mouth....WHAT DID YOU TASTE 'MELO after losing to them BAFOONS AGAIN?
11. MILE HIGH CLICK 37-27: G ARRON AFFALO.......Compton CENTENNIAL HS CA......by way of WESTWOOD....UCLA that is...is finally getting a chance to showcase his TALENT....... and when the NUGGETS go to a 2PG SET in FELTON and LAWSON aka FeltDAWG and LawDAWG....you might get bit in the BACKSIDE.
12. HORNETS NEST 37-28: PAUL went down last night with a Concussion....but having to play the BULLS tonight without CP3 will be difficult......WHERE IS PF David WEST going?...... if he leaves what will the HORNETS DO NEXT?
13. RIP CITY 35-27: The BLAZERS are holding up and PF LaMarcus ALDRIDGE i leading the way with a host of other solid players led by Matthews JR and BATUM. Will B ROY 7 ever be the same with those KNEE issues......man I hope so.
14. BEALE STREET BOYZ 35-29: The GRIZZ look like they will be right there in the FUTURE with a NUCLEUS of CONLEY JR, lil GASOL, GAY, and Z-BO. Right now they will give a first round high seed playoff team FITS....TRUST ME ON THIS ONE.
15. SIXERS 32-30: COACH COLLINS doing his magic again...since about the middle of JANUARY the 76ERS have been one of the LEAGUES best teams and flying under the RADAR......HOLIDAY, TURNER, Williams, YOUNG, and leader and Co-Captain IGGY IGUODALA are an exciting young nucleus learning to play under one of the best teachers in the LEAGUE.
16. UTAH 33-30: They traded who?............That is unheard of to trade a top 10 talent in his prime and he directs everything for you.......tells you something about DERRON WILLIAMS or where the JAZZ are headed........and JAZZ you better reach for your navigation because Devin HARRIS isn't the answer....REALLY.
