The New York Knicks jumped out to a 23-16 lead as they were following the lead of one Bloodline Tim Hardawy Jr. with 10 points in the frame. The Hornets playing great ball in their last eleven games bounced back winning frame to and behind just 37-36 at the break.

The Hornets were led by their back court of former Dayton Flyers PG Brian Roberts and Bloodline Gerald Henderson Jr. combining for 17 at the break. A tough 3rd had the Hornets and Knicks playing in a playoff-like atmosphere with Charlotte leading 57-54 at the end of the 3rd.

Knicks 8 Track no more Knicks Tape got to within 69-66 on two Hardaway free throws at the four minute mark but that would be as closed as the Knicks would get. Buzz City closed on a 7-5 run aided by an Al Jefferson lay-up and free throw and Henderson knocking down two from the stripe for a 76-71 Hornets "W"!

Roberts had a team-high 17 for Buzz City with Henderson Jr. adding 14 with M.K.G. chipping in with 10 points and seven boards. The Knicks were led by Hardaway's 25 points including five from deep. Former Duke player Lance Thomas added 16 points and grabbed eight boards. Neither team shot the Spalding Orange well it came down to making plays and getting "Stops" of course.

Hornets move to 19-26 and the Hive is once again alive in the NBA Southeast. Knicks going 8 Track falls to 8-37 and what is the over and under for ten wins by All-Star Break for Team Spike Lee.
