ORIOLES sign TRIBE Free Agent JIMINEZ and South Korean's YOON to bolster Starting Rotation...A CUP of JOE in the SHOW Report from O's Spring Training in Sarasota #Os #OrioleNation

The Baltimore Orioles had to bolster their Starting pitching heading into the 2014 season and they did just that on Monday. Free Agent RHP Ubaldo Jiminez who went 13-9 for the "Tribe" in 2013 with a 3.30 ERA in 32 Starts. He turned 30 last month and has started at least 31 games the last six Major League Seasons.

The Deal is said to be worth $48 million for 48 Months as he will join a staff led by Chris Tillman (16-7), Wei-Yen Chin (7-7), Miguel Gonzalez (11-8), Bud Norris (10-12), and O's youngster Kevin Gausman. No Jim Johnson in the Pen they turn Captain Save-A-Game Duties over to RHP Tommy Hunter.

The O's also signed South Korean RHP Suk-min Yoon to a three-year contract worth a reported $5.75 Million with escalators that put the deal north of $13 million. The O's who have been patient make their first big moves both on Monday getting both Yoon and Jiminez.
