The Bulls had to make a deal to free up Cap Space and they also wanted to make a deal to try and get more 1st round picks in the upcoming drafts to get better and compete for a Chip. To that you must give a a somewhat coveted Asset and Bulls 2012-13 All-Star SF Luol Deng of #DukeInTheNBA fits the mold.
After ten great seasons with the Bulls, an NBA All-Defense Member, an All-Star Game Appearance and a 16.1 ppg, 6.4 rpg, and 2,5 asst in 35.9 minutes per...Deng was a consummate professional on and off the hardwood. The Details in the Trade with the Cavs are:
Cavs
get SF Luol Deng
Bulls
get C Andrew Bynum
Cavs 1st Round Picks in 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017
Cavs from Blazers two 2nd Round Picks in 2015 and 2016
Note: If Andrew Bynum is waived or released by January 7th his Contract in not Guaranteed and off the Books all $20 million of it..as the CAVS had to guarantee it.
So long Luol Deng who was drafted in #7 overall in 2004 and part of a Draft Day Deal and the Bulls had picked 3rd that season UConn Scoring Guard Ben "BG7" Gordon (Bobcats) as well....
