A CUP of JOE in the SHOW Report #104...PALE HOSE go for the SWEEP of the YANKS Wednesday....S2 of the NATS Dominates fanning 10 BRAVES....O's and RAYS stay close in AL EAST

The White Sox are getting good enough Pitching and have broken out the "Big Fly" vs the Bronx Bombers as the Sox take #2 of the Three Game Set at the Cell on Tuesday.

Behind Kevin Youkilis' Granny and a Solo Shot by Paulie the Sox win 7-3. The Pale Hose chase Yanks Starter Nova after he goes 6 innings for the Loss. The Sox Starter Liriano goers 6 Strong scattering Six Hits an allowing just 2 Runs to get the Much-Needed W for his Psyche.

The Hitting Star for the South Siders wasn't Paulie or Youk but OF DeWayne Wise who went 4 for 5 with a Run Scored and is now hitting .299 with 64 Games under his belt. The Bombers get a Solo Shot in the 1st from Derek Jeter and they score just two more after that. Sox lead the Tigers by 2 Full Games in the AL Central with the Win.

The Bombers now have the Rays and O's in the Rear view Mirror and it looks like it will be a Fight to the Finish. If any of three has an edge its the Rays with their Grade A Starting Pitching with Price and Shields leading that Staff. As we go to Press the Rays are 4 back and the O's are 5 back of then AL East Leading New York Yankees.

The Nats will shut down S2 but S2 hasn't shut down himself as he blows the Braves right off the Potomac 4-1. Strasburg went Only 6 Innings and fanned 10 Braves as though it was another Night at the Gig.

Braves Starter Maholm scattered 7 Hits and allowed 4 runs in 7 Innings to take the Loss. The Nats were led by Ian Desmond's Solo Shot in the 2nd and the Big Blow to the Braves a 3-Run Bomb by Jesus Flores that opened the Game up.

Now the Braves are 7 Games back but the Good News is they still have a Lead in the NL Wild Card as they will be in that 1-Game Playoff vs either the Buccos, Dodgers, or Redbirds I am thinking.
