The Kansas Jayhawks can't make any excuses and they won't but I will for them as the Injury and Suspension is finally getting to that KU Front court. Both "Bigs" Udoka Azubuike (Broken Wrist) and Silvio De Sousa (NCAA Suspension) are out and Azubuike is done for the year with De Sousa waiting on the NCAA Ruling.

It happens and the Texas Longhorns perhaps played one of their best basketball games of the season and they went end to end with the Jayhawks and beat KU 73-63. It was a balanced attack by #HookEm led by Dylan Osetkowski (16 pts 4 rebs), Kerwin Roach II (15 pts 3 asst) and 13 points from Jaxson Hayes.

The "Equalizer" the three-point shot when they needed it went Texas' way and they made 10 money balls and was +12 from deep. Kansas gets 13 points and seven boards from Dedric Lawson as he looks worn down playing the "5' for KU as he shot just 4 for 15 from the field. KU Freshman Ochai Agbaji led all scorers with a game-high 24 points and no Ochai the Jayhawks would have gotten beat by 25.

Kansas must get more from talented Freshman Quentin Grimes and Devon Dotson and if they do not and it stays inconsistent KU lead man Bill Self will have to make a run in that Big 12 Tourney maybe to get a solid seed.

The North Carolina Tar Heels finally getting into a ACC Groove puts 11 players in the score books and uses a 46-30 second half to easy by the home team the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. It was Heels Senior Cam Johnson who led all scorers with 22 points and UNC Freshman PG Colby White's 19 points a they accounted for 41 of the Tar Heels 77 points.

Carolina shoots nearly 50% from both the field and Smyrna, Georgia  while holding the Ramblin' Wreck to 35% from the field and just 12% from Alpharetta, Georgia. Senior Forward Abdoulaye Gueye led the Jackets with 14 points and four boards as the Ramblin' Wreck has been struggling for years to get back to its once proud ACC Hoops Play under Legend Bobby Cremins and Paul Hewitt.

Was there any question that the Tennessee Volunteers dodging last week's near upset in the Music City to the Commodores of Vanderbilt went into Columbia, South Carolina and hammered a solid Frank Martin's Bunch.

It was soon to be 1st Team All-American and possibly SEC P.O.Y. Candidate Grant Williams of the Vols with 23 points and nine boards with Admiral Scholfield adding a team-high 24 points with nine boards also and four assists and two steals.

Tennessee just kept attacking and led 47-38 at the break as Martin's squad stayed within striking distance but  didn't have enough horses to get back into the game. Gamecocks PF Chris Silva had a game-high 28 points and ten boards but he was the only South Carolina Players really putting in work.

UT Knoxville shoots an amazing 56% from the field and was +8 on the glass and that spelled winner's circle. Vols move to 20-1 and 8-0 in SEC Play while the Gamecocks fall to 10-11 and 5-3 SEC Play...

The Golden State Warriors came out on the Indiana Pacers like Mother Nature dumped the White Stuff all over the upper Midwest in bunches.  Behind a 40-22 opening frame and a 69-48 lead at the break "Dubs" cruised right past the Pacers on Monday Night in the Circle City with a 132-100 "W"!

The night was also filled with one Stephen Curry 30 hitting the record books in the 2nd frame as he made a money ball and became the first NBA Player to have 200 money ball makes in seven consecutive seasons. SC30 also had a game-high 26 points shooting 6 for 8 from deep as the Warriors as the Logo's only "Boogie Man" in "Dubs" Big Boogie Man Cousins added 22 points with six boards.

Midway through the 1st frame the Boogie Man went down in a heap as he was fouled on a breakaway bucket and landed awkward. Cousins did get up and everything through reports appears to be good. Both K.D. and Klay Thompson dropped 16 points apiece as all starter splayed under 31 minutes.

The pacers had four starters in double figures led by Myles Turner's 16 points and six boards and Bogdan Bogdanovic with 15 points. If there is an "Elephant in the Room" it has to be what does that Rams Defense do to slow down Tom Brady and the Patriots Offense? Brady is making his 9th appearance in the big game and there is nothing he has not seen not talking Super Bowl Media Day. Can the Rams come up with not a gimmick but a good enough scheme to hold Brady and the Pats O at bay enough for Air McVay and Goff to do damage for a parade route?

Brady will be ready to dissect the Rams Defense and if the Pats win the Coin Toss let the games begin...Rams must not let Brady and Company score Six on the opening drive that ruins my Super Bowl Party, Vegas, and others Super Bowl get down! 

Edelman who else has been a terror and no one Nickel or Dime DB can stop him yet even slow him down...can the Rams take him away?
