After what has been deemed the "Immaculate Extension" by many who follow Team 6 Parade Route and 6 Chips the Pittsburgh Steelers are back into "Winning Time"!. There is nothing more to say as the 2K16 Fall Classic moves into game 7 status as its winner take all. The Chicago Cubs seemingly "Dead in the Water" entering Sunday Night's Game in Wrigley had no life and it looked like a Cleveland Sweep at the Friendly Confines and another parade route for the Land!

Then the Cubs go it going Sunday for a 3-2 "W" behind Ace LHP Jon Lester and then rode Jake Arrieta and the Cubs Ash, Maple or Bamboo to a 9-3 smashing of the Tribe last night. The plot thickens tonight as the North Siders have yet to beat Tribe Starter Corey Kluber with his wing man Andrew Miller waiting in the wings.

In order for the Cubbies to bring it home they must get Kluber off the "Bump" and hit that Indians early  and often. On the other hand the Tribe needs to say patient at the "Dish" and get to Kyle Hendricks changing of speeds approach and get to that Cubs Pen.

Look for the Cubs to be aggressive versus Kluber early and often to avoid seeing Kluber after he settles in and if that happens that is tough sledding for the Cubs. The Tribe will attack Hendricks and the Cubs starter needs to be better than good. 

Its game #7 they said this is what you dream of growing up and it will be the team that embraces the moment but gets to playing their game first that will be victorious. Who wins this one...Pick'em?

After a Kris Bryant Solo Tater the Chicago Cubs get a huge gift as an Addison Russell routine fly turned into #ShaqtinAFool and the Cubbies scored two more runs for a 3-0 lead. That lead, behind Cubbies starter Jake Arrieta (W, 2-0) who went 5 and some change allowing two runs on three hits, held up a Russell then went "Granny" in the 3rd for a 7-0 Cubs lead and hey never looked back. Tribe starter Mike Tomlin was rocked giving up a crooked six runs in just over two frames.

Arrieta's only trouble was in the 4th as he allowed a Jason Kipnis run (on a Mike Napoli RBI single)  but then got out of a bases loaded jam to end that frame at 7-1 Cubbies. Kipnis was the only real factor for the Tribe as he finished going 3 for 5 with a solo HR.

Cubbies first baseman Anthony Rizzo then finished the night off with a two-run jack to right field for a final score of 9-3 Cubbies as the Tribe adds another run in their half of the 9th. Just like that we get a game #7 as Uncle Mo dba Momentum has completely turned in favor of the Chicago Cubs heading into game #7.

Looking closely at this the North Siders are playing on House Money after being down 3-1 but whoever gets out that gate fast and furious in game #7 will capture Uncle Mo and most likely get a parade route.

It will be Kyle Hendricks taking on Corey Kluber with both teams using all pitchers at their own disposal. With everyone hitting the off-season after this tilt both teams will be all out for a must-see t.v affair!

Here we go as the Chicago Cubs stopped a potential sweep and Shamp-Pag-Na in the Visitors Clubhouse on Sunday for a 3-2 "W" forcing a game #6. Cubbies Starter Jon Lester was good enough as he has been all post season long and now the North Siders stick Jake Arrieta on the "Bump" in another elimination game.

The Cleveland Indians with all the pressure shifting to their clubhouse has two games to get one but they cannot have that mindset or they will be talking MLB Winter Meetings and what could and should have been. Mike Tomlin who pitched magnificient in game #3 will be on the "Hill" for the Tribe as the Indians must get game #6 to stop even more pressure in that clubhouse if the Cubbies force a game #7!

The North Siders will get a huge boost moving back to the Junior Circuit Rules with Kyle Schwarber moving back into the DH. I also think OF Jason Heyward has been swinging the Ash, Maple or Bamboo better and he will get the nod in RF with Jorge Soler staying put on the bench. 

The Tribe gets better defensively as Carlos Santana moves back to DH only as he was never really tested in the field at the Friendly Confines. My sleeper for the Tribe is Coco Crisp and the Cubbies Pitchers must keep him off the base paths as well as Raji Davis who should play for Naquin in CF.

The Chicago Cubs backed into a corner and on the brink of losing the 2K16 World Series and getting swept three straight at the Friendly Confines gets on their horse in game #5 for a improbable 3-2 "W"! Was it Kris Bryant's Solo blast or even Jon Lester's performance on the "Bump" yes those were two big keys to highlight.

The night though belonged to Cubs Captain Save-A-Game Aroldis Chapman who gets 8 outs as he gets the call from Skip Joe Maddon and delivers in what was the game of the year for the North Siders. Maddon took the gamble knowing its now or the 2K17 Cubs Convention is next on the menu right after the MLB Winter Meetings as his gamble paid big dividends.

Now we get a game #6 near Lake Erie and the Rock and Roll Museum with all pressure on the Tribe to close out the 2K16 Cubbies who will have reigning 2K15 NL Cy Young Winner Jake Arrieta on the hill. The Indians will go with Mike Tomlin and we get things going on Tuesday November 1st from the "Jake" dba Progressive Field!

Switching gears the Dallas Cowboys are riding a wave created by Rod Marinelli's "D" and two Donut-Runners (Rookies). That wave stopped the Philadelphia Eagles last night and their #1 Donut-Runner QB Carson Wentz in extras 29-23 as the 'Boys lead the NFC East by two games with the Dawg Pound on the menu for NFL Week 9 in Cleveland.

QB Prescott threw for 287 yards and RB Elliott ran for another 96 yards as Cowboys TE Jason Witten caught the game-winning TD from Prescott as the 'Boys move to an impressive 6-1. Eagles QB Wentz was 32-43 for just 202 yards and looking at those numbers closely thats a short passing game at its best.

Dallas loves their 'Boys and QB Dak Prescott has taken DFW by storm as Tony Romo unfortunately for him has to be relegated to 2nd string when he comes back off I.R.. That problem though is a nice problem to have for the 'Boys and Christmas for Cowboys Nation has come early an get those #4 and #21 Cowboys Jerseys before Black Friday as you might be disappointed waiting on Mrs. Claus and Santa to deliver by the 25th of December...

The Cleveland Indians showed in game #3 in the 2K16 Fall Classic versus the Chicago Cubs they are no one-trick-pony as they quiet all of the north side of Second City with a 1-0 shutout. Tribe starter Mike Tomlin outlasts Cubbies starter Kyle Hendricks as both pens stood tall as the Tribe's Pen stood a pitch or two taller!

It was the Quartet of Tomlin followed by Andrew Miller, Brian Shaw and Tribe Captain Save-A-Game  Cody Allen that did a number on those Cubs Hitters. That mini slump the Cubs hitters were in versus the Dodgers has reared its ugly head but the Tribe has better pitching than Dodger Blue. That conversely puts the Cubs line up in more dangers as Corey Kluber on three days rest will take the "Bump" for the Tribe Saturday Might with a 6pm CT start.

The Indians lone run came on a Coco Crisp RBI single in the 7th charged to Cubs middle man Carl Edwards Jr.. Chicago rallied in the bottom of the 9th as they had ducks on the pond at 3rd and the potential game-winning run at 2nd as Javier Baez struck out swinging on some high cheese from Allen.

It's all about two things...Mother Nature and how the Pitchers can stay away from that projected 20-mph Winds blowing out keeping the Rawlings stitched-one in the diamond. The Tribe needs to keep Carlos Santana's Ash, Maple or Bamboo in the line-up as I expect him to play right field.  The North Siders get bad news yesterday as Doctors ruled Kyle Schwarber out for playing in the field and I expect Jorge Soler or even Chrios Cohglan to man RF not Jason Heyward. 

It will come down to also how that wind changes throughout the contest as game-time temps should be around 50 degrees by 8pm ET and low 40s by the end of the contest. The Tribe going on a 3-man rotation will throw Corey Kluber in game #4 and the North Siders must get to Tomlin tonight to set up an even bigger match up versus Kluber. If the Tribe grabs game #3 lookout as they will be gunning for game #4 with their Ace Kulber on the "Bump"!

We have a series talking 2K16 Fall Classic as the Chicago Cubs even up their series with the Cleveland Indians at 1-1. Cubbies Skipper Joe Maddon went with @JArrieta34 for game #2 and he and the North Siders were dead on.

Jake from the "Friendly Confines" was dealing as he goes 5 and 2/3 frames striking out six and walking three. Then Tribe didn't get their first base knock until the Jason Kipnis double in the bottom half of the 6th. The Cubs then went to the Pen as they led 5-0 before Kipnis racked up his two-bagger.

Kris Bryant started things in the  1st with a single only to be knocked in by an Anthony Rizzo double as they led 1-0 after one. Then Kyle Schwarber's single knocked in Rizzo in the 3rd for a 2-0 Cubs lead. The North Siders then ran up their tab to 5-0 in the 5th highlighted by a Ben Zobrist RBI triple and a Schwarber RBI single.

The Tribe scored in the 6th on a Arrieta (WP) Wild Pitch as Mike Montgomery and Aroldis Chapman joined forces to close out the night with a Cubs 5-1 victory.

Game 3-5 shifts to the North Side of Chi-City starting Friday October 28th as the Cubbies will have Josh Tomlin for Cleveland and Kyle Hendricks for the Cubbies.
