The Hawks skate to a 4-1 victory over the L.A. Kings on the 2nd leg of a back to back as they beat the Jets last night 4-3 at the end of regulation. It was Scott Darling in the blue paint for the Indian Head out dueling one Jonathan Quick of the Monarchs in this one.

The Hawks got on the board on a Bryan Bickell tip-in in the 1st with just over 13 minutes remaining making it 1-0 Hawks. The Kings though get a Jake Muzzin score right before the end of the 1st frame as it trickled right past what looked to be the stick of Darling and through the five-hole tying it 1-1.

That would be it for the Kings as the Hawks went into overdrive D.K. dba Duncan Keith scores on a power play chance just over a minute and a half into frame #2. With the Indian Head up 2-1 Niklas Hjalmarsson a little over a minute later beats Quick in net making it 3-1 Hawks.

Darling would take over from there as he stopped some 31 of 32 SOG. Quick was bombarded with 40 SOG stopping 36 of them as Marian Hossa scores his 22nd goal of the season over half way through the 3rd for a 4-1 Hawks "W"!

Now the Indian Head at 46-24-6 with 98 points is a point behind #2 Blue Notes and four points behind the Central leading "Preds"...here we go Hawks Nation!

Behind a game-high 30 points (12-23 FG) and eight assists from Avery Bradley the Celts run away from the Hornets 116-104. It was the C's shooting 50% from the field and the Green Team's bench out scoring the Charlotte's bench 42-32 that played a pivotal role in this one.

Kemba Walker led Charlotte with 28 points and a dozen assists with Gerald Henderson Jr. adding 17.    This Buzz City Team was suppose to be right in the middle of not grabbing an #8 seed but an Southeast Division Title. That couldn't be further away from the truth as Lance Stephenson (Nicki Minaj Voice) has been a major disappointment and blow in some one's ear on that!

Evan Turner was the only other Celtic Starter in double figures with 15 points and six boards. C's lead man Brad Stevens has a plan in place and it starting to evolve here in year #2 as it's also a Players League and the Green Team has some nice young pieces to go along with some middle -of-the-road vets like Turner.

Reyes bounced back after a couple of injury-riddled campaign after he grabbed the NL M.V.P. which seemed like a decade ago. There is no one more naturally talented hence his 33 two-baggers and 30 thefts...

J-Roll lands in Dodger Land USA and he should have even more of an impact on his middle infield mate Howie Kendricks and that Dodger Blue Clubhouse. He isn't that NL M.V.P. Caliber he once was but he still darn good and if he can stay healthy lookout...

Turner was solid his freshman season as the now ousted Hookem' Lead Man Rick Barnes I thought didn't use him wisely as Turner came off the bench way too much averaging just 22 minutes per. Turner still managed to average 10.1 ppg and 6.5 rpg in just a little over half a game.

Bad news but news that was expected is Red Nation PG Patrick Beverley has been ruled out for the remainder of the 2015 season due to Wrist Surgery. What this means for the Rockets their table-setter on "D" will be out which puts more pressure on James Harden and to handle the Spalding orange more and defend more.

Beverley the former Woo Pig Sooie Star is averaging just over 30 minutes per at 10.1 ppg  4.2 rpg 3.4 apg. Those numbers are impressive considering there are absolutely no plays ran for him and those numbers do not illustrate Beverley's game to game impact on "D" as he and Corey Brewer could stick you up in a phone booth.

Beltre is still the driving force for North Texas Hardball and is so consistent as he has stayed away from the D.L. over his years in Texas. He hit .324 with 77 RBI and 79 runs and he is 35 years old!

Longoria they paid him mucho Duffel Bags but after everyone including Skip Joe Maddon has skipped town Longoria is the cornerstone. His .253 average needs to get at leat to .275 but 91 RBI was excellent now only if he could get the power numbers elevated (22 HR in 2014).

Rendon is quietly becoming that force in that Nats line Up. He scored 111 runs in 2014 with a .287 average and the best is yet to come.

Donaldson has been the man for the Swingin' Elephants the last two years and nothing has changed. Almost a 30/100 guy (29 HR 98 RBI) in 2014 only his average suffered (.255) but those run production numbers with power I will take them instead!

"Panda Smash" after winning three Chips in the Bay with Fisherman's Wharf Hardball dba #OrangeOctober he lands at Fenway. His glove isn't the best of the four mentioned ahead of him but his Ash, Maple, or Bamboo is right there. In 2014 at .279 with 73 Ribbies the Carmines would take all of that for 2015...

It Leonard though who scored the Spurs first 14 points of the 4th frame that put San Antonio up ten points and they never looked back at 85-75. It benefits players as well and that is playing in different speeds and being able to adjust on the fly. The Duke Blue Devils and Gonzaga Bulldogs started on in 4th gear and the Zags started to get their mojo. Then Coach K makes some subtle adjustments slowing the game down to benefit Duke All-American "Big Jah" Okafor and the rest was history!

The Blue Devils leading at the break 31-26 withstood the Zags best shots in the 2nd half as Team Mark Few went scoreless (No Baskets but two free throws) the last 6:40 of the game and that is getting it done on the defensive end for the Dukies!  

"Big Jah" had just 9 points and eight boards as it was Texas Platers for Duke in Houston's Justice Winslow (16 pts 5 rebs) and Dallas, Texas Area Desoto, Texas Matt Jones ( 16 pts 4-6 3pt FG) that did the job. Throw in the "Dukies" excellent guard play in Tyus Jones (15 pts 6 asst) and Quinn Cook ( 10 pts 5 rebs) here comes the Cameron Krazies to Indy vs "Green" and "Izzone"!

The Zags go out as Kyle Wiltjer led with 16 points and five boards and Byron Wesley adding 10 points and five boards. Gonzaga shot just 2 for 10 from the arc with the Dukies 8 for 19. Then you add the Zags shooting 6 for 9 from the stripe to Duke's 16 for 19 the had no shot in the 2nd half...none!

Duke now heads to the Final four joining two other #1's and a #7 in Michigan State...

The law of averages didn't waver in this one as Louisville brings its A-Game and some "O" and they almost took down "Izzone" and the Spartans. It came down to "Green" making baskets and plays in the extra frame that gets them a one-way ticket to Nap Town for the 2015 Final Four.

The 'Cards played extremely well especially in the 1st half where they controlled "Pace". Louisville PG Terry Rozier (13 pts 8 rebs 4 stls) and WF Wayne Blackshear (28 pts) we huge factors all game long. Ye Rozier didn't have his best shooting day but his overall impact on the game will go unnoticed just looking in the books.

It was Sparty though down at the break 40-32 that came right back after the break putting their stamp on the game cutting that eight point deficit to two at 42-40 at the first T.V. Timeout. Green then tied the game under the nine minute mark at 51-51 when Bryn Forbes made a money ball as Sparty took the lead and the Uncle Mo at 54-51.

Louisville had a chance with Mangok Mathiang at the stripe with 4.9 seconds remaining and shooting two. He got a favorable bounce tying the game  65-65 but missed the 2nd. Travis Trice (17 pts 5 asst 4 rebs) then pulled up right over the timeline as we go to extras!

Sparty then took over in the extra frame outscoring the 'Ville 11-5 for an impressive 76-70 "W" as they will meet the winner of Duke/Gonzaga.

Note: It was Sparty's Denzel Valentine (15 pts 7 rebs 6 ast) and Forbes 14 pts ( 4-6 3pt FG) that was the difference in the game for "Green"...

That was the Wayne Blackshear I though Louisville was getting from Day 1 that played today. A Top 15 Recruit in the Country in 2011 when he came out of Chicago's Morgan Park H.S.. His tenure at the 'Ville will be marked as above-average but three final 8 appearances and two final 4's...can't beat that! 

As for Tom Izzo doing with this current team after losing out on Top Targets like James Young (UK, Celtics), Jabari Parker (Duke, Bucks) and Cliff Alexander (Kansas) as they had Sparty 2 on their list in the last three years and still doing it at a high level...Top 3 Coaches in the US period!

Yes the best of Cali in Class of 2K15 Ivan Raab a consensus Top 10 in the Class of 2015 takes his Oakland, California Bishop O'Down Dragons Team to a 65-54 win over the Mater Dei of Santa Ana, California to win the CIF Division 1 State Championship.

Raab (Pictured right #23) considered by many as the best "Big" in the Class of 2K15 not named Ben Simmons had 19 points and seventeen boards including the game-winning free throw. He also has declared as early as this past week his final list of schools has come down to the home state California Golden Bears and the Arizona Wildcats.

The kicker is Raab's AAU Organization the Oakland Soldiers has sent it's last two stars Aaron Gordon  (San Jose, CA Arch Bishop Mitty) and Stanley Johnson (Santa Ana, CA Mater Dei) both to Sean Miller and the Arizona Wildcats.  Raab will have a tough decision to make as Cal Berkeley's Campus is just a stones throw from Bishop O'Dowd HS where Raab stars at.

If you would have told me Irish "Big" Zach Auguste would go for 20 points and nine boards on 10 of 13 from the field I would have told you the Irish stayed close. Add in Steve Vasturia's 16 points and Jerian Grant's 15 points and six helpers I would have said the Irish took them to the Buzzer didn't they?

As Grant's last second money ball went over the rim in regulation the Kentucky Wildcats seemingly out at 37-1 finds a way to win beating Notre Dame 68-66. It was Freshman Karl Anthony-Towns on the block and in and around the painted-area that wore the Irish out with a game-high 25 points . Towns also had five boards and four assists and two steals as that #1 pick for the 2015 NBA Draft might be "Big Jah" Jahlil Okafor of Duke but he has some serious company in Towns and Wisconsin's Frank Kaminsky.

Notre Dame played a near perfect game as they assisted 16 times on 26 made baskets. That tells me their offense was super-efficient and they had an "All Hands on Deck" Approach. The Harrison Twins money ball and two free throws at the end were huge as they have been clutch since arriving to Lexington.

Auguste was dominant as well as the Wisconsin Badgers will take a page out of the Irish Playbook and try to give UK some of those same looks on offense. Problem is the Irish plays four guards and two of them are in wing forward bodies.

UK advances and will get the Badgers again this time not in Big D but in Indy...

The Wisconsin Badgers had to be worried about "Pace" as the Arizona Wildcats took control late in the first half and went to the locker room with a 33-30 lead. That Chalk Talk for the Badgers plus a Staples Center Forecast that blew in right before the 2nd half tip of "Cloudy with a chance of Money Balls from the Badgers" took center stage and down goes Bear Down!

It was the "Frank the Tank" Kaminsky Show along with Sam Dekker the Sheboygan, Wisconsin G.O.A.T. that derailed any hopes of the Arizona Wildcats advancing to the Final 4 in Indy. Dekker's 27 points (5-6 3pt FG) was on the heels of two huge NBA-esque Triples and one had a Chef Curry lean and Swag to it steeping right back Badgers lead man Bo Ryan. Wisconsin shot 10-12 from the Arc in the 2nd half and 12 -18 on the night.

Arizona hung tough as Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Brandon Ashley both drop 17 points with T.J. McConnell adding 14 points and five helpers. The Badgers just controlled that all important "Pace" in the 2nd half as Kaminsky dropped a game-high 29 points (18 pts in 1st half). Arizona "Big" Kaleb Tarczewski played well but he was going up against arguably the best all-around center in College basketball in Kaminsky.

Both teams shot 30 plus free throws and the game was called even on both ends. The Badgers spoil the party for Arizona again and did it on the Left Coast again. If Kentucky wins it will be Wisconsin and UK in the National Semis with Logo Green Room Talent running a mock!

The Louisville Cardinals have been playing their best basketball of the season and the N.C. State Wolfpack also playing some of their best ball of the season was on the other end the bad end of this one.  

Behind 'Ville All-American PF Montrezl Harrell's 24 points and seven boards the 'Cards advance to the East Region Elite 8 to take on the Spartans of Michigan State. A 75-765 'Ville "W" was highlighted by unsung hero and Bloodline Anton Gill's (Son of former Flyin' Illini and NBA Star Kendall Gill) 7 points in eleven minutes. His money ball with the score 59-57 Louisville was the back breaker for the Wolfpack.

'Cards PG Terry Rozier added 17 points and a whopping fourteen boards as Freshman Quentin Snider chipped in with 14 points. Louisville dodges that Trio of 'Pack Guards as Trevor Lacey led with 18 points.

Tom Izzo is no stranger to getting deep into Match Madness as they sneak by a game Oklahoma Sooners Team 62-58. "Izzone" struggled at the top end of the 1st half down by as many as ten points. They left the half down 31-27 and that was a huge Uncle Mo Builder for the Spartans leading into the 2nd half.

Spartans PG Travis Trice led with a game-high 24 points as his partner in crime Denzel Valentine added 18 points and seven boards as they hit six free throws in a row closing out with a 62-58 win.  "Boomer Sooner" fabulous Guard Buddy Hield was dynamite with 21 points with TaShawn Thomas adding 16 points and seven boards.

A wild first period broke out at the Madhouse as the Indian Head was on the wrong end of this what looked to be a scrimmage. The Columbus Blue Jackets shoot 13 at Hawks net minder Corey Crawford in net as 4 gets by him for a 4-2 Blue Jackets lead after one.

Brandon Saad (22) made it 1-0 Hawks as he "Lit the Lamp" just three minutes in some change in. The Blue Jackets answered Saad scoring the next two goals going up 2-1. Captain Serious scored his 24th of the season tying the game up at 2-2. That would be the last time the Hawks were tied or led as the Jackets score twice more before the first twenty minutes were up taking a 4-2 lead into the 1st intermission.

Crawford was pulled in favor of Scott Darling who who stopped all 13 SOG he faced but Jackets net minder Sergei Brobovsky stopped 31 of 33 SOG as the Hawks fail to make any ground on the Central leading Nashville Predators.

The Indian Head was out shot 33-27 and was 0-5 on the power play...

The Gonzaga Bulldogs consistent play gets them to the Elite 8 as they beat UCLA with both stone cold from the arc. The Bulldogs relied on glass work (rebounds) and shooting at a 75% plus clip from the stripe. The Bruins lived and dies by the "J" as they also get outworked on the glass.

It was the Zags front court not Kyle Wiltjer (4-12 FG 8 pts 10 rebs) but Przemek Karnowski 18 points and eight boards with super-sun Domantas Sabonis adding a dozen points and eight boards. Kevin Pangos controlled the "Pace" as the Zags star guard had 10 points. Byron Wesley's 14 points were huge as he kept the UCLA trio of guards at bay.

UCLA's Bryce Alford (8 pts 3-11 FG)  was stone-cold as was Kevon Looney (9 pts 8 rebs). The Bruins experience along with not being able to match up across the board with the Zags spelled gloom and doom. Tony Parker added 16 points and ten boards as his game took a 360 degree turn in 2015 as he should be pre All Pac 12 in the 2015-16 season.

Brantley is butta in LF as he went to his 1st Mid Summers Classic in 2014. He also racked up a gaudy .327 average with 20 bombs and 97 ducks knocked in. Expect the same this year especially with a healthy Jason Kipnis hitting ahead of him or behind him.

Upton was one of the bright spots for Atlanta in 2014 and he is capable of putting up MVP Numbers. Now he is in a crowded OF with Wil Myers and one Matt Kemp and nothing like friendly competition bring the bet out of a ball player. Expect Upton to go O-Zone layer with his 2015 digits at the dish.

Gordon has been a fixture on the Awards scene for awhile. Two-Time All-Star and four Golden Gloves in LF and he hits. Kansas City will be a force and expect Gordon again to be in the middle of it.  

Hanley in LF for the first time..calm down. Ramirez can hit with the bets of them and he will have to adjust to the Junior Circuit and then Green Monster but he should be fine with his superior Hardball Skills and athleticism. With Panda Smash Sandoval at the hot corner and Xander Boegarts at SS...where else were you going to put Hanley?

Corey Dickerson who?..Write that name down with Michael Cuddyer long gone "Tulo" Troy Tulowitzki and "Car-Go" Carlos Gonzalez gets a young stud in Dickerson. He can hit and field hence his 24 HR 76 RBI at .312 in just over 400 plus A.B.'s...shut up talking to the Bluedude!

The North Carolina State Wolfpack is on a ride and that ride might continue as they have a slight edge over the sometimes offensively-challenged Louisville Cardinals. The 'Pack is riding both Anthony Barber and Trevor Lacey as they have lit a spark under Carolina Red. The 'Cards are following Terry Rozier as the lead guard and Montrezl Harrell in the painted-area.

In the nightcap the Michigan State Spartans doing their customary March runs are locked in and a dangerous team and a real threat to get to Indy. The Oklahoma Sooners are doing it behind the Rebuild-A-Program Master in the well-traveled Lon Kruger. This should be a battle all 94 feet of hardwood.

Look it's as simple as Apple Pie as the Spartans run out two seniors in Branden Dawson and Travis Trice and underclassmen Denzel Valentine a nice inside/outside match. The Sooners roll with Big 12 leading scorer Buddy Hield and Ryan Springler in and around the paint. Both team are coached extremely well and the defense end is where they lay the groundwork for every outing. Those two will the Fighting Irish electric back court of Demetrius Jackson and Bloodline Jerian Grant.     Outside of these two and the Shock Nation back court you would be hard-pressed to fins a better duos. They will cancel each other out as someone has to step up for both.

For the Shockers look for Tekele Cotton and Evan Wessel. For the Irish Zach August and Pat Connaughton to ride shot gun for the Irish. Contrasting styles with in-game adjustments and no one is an easy out in the Sweet 16.

The Mountaineers play 10 guards and a forward and center...lol! They play 90 feet and will put immense pressure on the 'Cats Guards. Juwan Stanton was Big 12 pre-season Conference P.O.Y. and he is the Ring Leader as the #BBN must pay close attention to him. Devin Williams leads the front court at 6-9 and just north of 250 el bees and he will have his work cutout.

As for Kentucky they don't do everything spectacular but very well. That last game vs Cincy was a prime example of how you can slow them down. But be careful as you can try the Bearcats Blue Print but do you have their personnel? At this point in the game UK is more worried about what they do not what WVU does. UK also knows if they play their game and go 110% only the Cleveland Cavaliers could beat them on any given night in the State of Ohio tonight.

The Memphis Grizzlies just didn't have it or the Cleveland Cavaliers just took it to them or a little bit a both or just a bad match up for Grit and Grind. After the Cavs led 22-19 running at a Grizz "Pace" things started to turn into the Cavs Pace" and that spelled nothing but trouble for Memphis.

Cleveland leading at the break 55-42 came out in the 3rd frame and blew the doors of Memphis out scoring them 36-24 but 36-21 after Mike Conley Jr. started the 3rd with a money ball cutting the Cavs lead to 55-45. The Cavs led after three 91-66 by 25 points as Kyrie Irving had 24, Kevin Love 17, and King James 16 at the end of three.

"Believeland" would cruise to a 111-89 win with Irving with a game-high 24 points with Love adding 22 points and ten boards and LeBron chipping in with 20 points and eight boards. The Cavs move to 46-26 with the Grizzlies falling to 50-21. Marc Gasol paced the Grizz with 18 points in the loss!

Cleveland now leads the Bulls by three full games for #2 in the East and the NBA Central division. The Grizz leads the Rockets for #2 in both the Southwest division and the West.

Cavs out rebounded the Grizz 49-32 after Cleveland committed some 18 turnovers but was +30 in points from the Arc...go figure!

The Chicago Bulls know the time is now or never as they have to make a stand in getting that #3 slot trying to stay on pace with "Believeland" in the Central. The Raptors trying to stay ahead of the Bulls jumped out early to a 29-20 first frame lead and a 54-50 lead at the break.

The Bulls at the break was led by Pau Gasol's dozen and Niko Mirotic's 10 points with Greivis Vasquez leading the Raptors with 15 at the break. The Bulls though catching a little bit of Uncle Mo would come out in the 2nd half ready to do battle.  

Midway through the 3rd the Raptors built an eleven point lead 71-60 as that would be the largest lead they would have in the 2nd half. The Bulls hung tough as things could have gotten away from them as they shoot some 60% from the field for the night. They were down 82-77 after three but still within striking distance.

"See Red" would then open a huge 4th frame out scoring the Dinosaurs 39-21 and at the two minute mark would lead Toronto 109-101. That is a 32-19 run highlighted by the Bulls hitting shot after shot. The Raptors did not have any answers and for their defensive-minded lead man Dwayne Casey that had to move him in the wrong direction. The Bulls close out with 116-103 "W" and that is two wins over WeTheNorth in six days.  

Butler led with 23 points and Gasol threw in 18 points as they get to the magic numbers (50% FG 50% 3-pt FG 80% FT) shooting 60% from the field, 50% plus from the arc, and 82% from the stripe.

The Raptors were led by Vasquez 22 points and DeMar DeRozan's 20 points with super-sun Lou-Will adding 18. Raptors fall to 42-30 while the Bulls move to 44-29 and leads Toronto by 1.5 games for #3 in the east.

Stanton is a monster at the dish and the Fish had every right to lock him even though they gave him maybe a duffel bag or two too much. He is the core as they rebuild Little Havana Hardball around him.

Jose Bats along with Edwin Encarnacion is the heart of that Blue Jays line Up. If the 'Jays can overcome the loss of #3 Starter the "Stro-Man" Marcus Stroman and they get major help from the bull pen lookout.

Dodger Blue does a face-lift deciding to let Matt Kemp walking as Puig and Carl Crawford or the corner OF's as there is talent in abundance in Dodgers Camp in that outfield. Puig will be counted on to be more consistent.

Werth might be the most underrated OF in the Show as he goes the Nats' go. That offense doesn't revolve around Bam 34 in Bryce Harper but its Werth. When healthy he is lights out and he and Puig might be the best all round RF's in the Top 5 from the dish to throwing leather!

Heyward gets a change of scenery and the Redbirds might have found them something here. There is no denying his enormous talent but he must stay healthy and play through those nagging day to day injuries. The Braves chose to pay Freddie Freeman big $$$$ and traded Heyward. The jury is still out on this one but for the Redbirds it's low-risk high-reward!

At 6-8 and just north of 225 el bees LSU Sophmore PF/SF Jarrell Martin will forgo his last two years of eligibility and enter the 2015 NBA Draft. Martin has game and he reminds me a lot of former La Tech and Jazz 2nd round pick and current Hawks All-Star Paul Milsap as Martin plays bigger than his frame and build exists.

The Tigers Sophomore Star led LSU to a 3rd place finish in the SEC at 11-7 in conference play and 22-11 overall trailing only Kentucky and Arkansas. J-Mart averaged 16.9 ppg 9.2 rpg and has some serious hidden athleticism. He is what they call now in the Logo a Stretch 4 instead of saying J-Mart is a tweener.

This news might come at a surprise to many as LSU has the #1 Schoolboy player in the Class of 2015 in 6-8 PF/SF Ben Simmons (Montverde Academy Florida) along with Top 15 recruit and combo guard Antonio Blakeney (Orlando, Fla Oak Ridge HS). The Tiger might also lose Martin's partner in crime Sophomore Jordan Mickey of Dallas. Mickey averaged 15.4 ppg 9.9 rpg and his game is similar to Martin's except Mickey is more of a PF as his game illustrates.

Stay tuned as Martin is gone but if they can get Mickey to stay lookout they should still be in the Top 15 pre-season as those LSU guards they currently have like Keith Hornsby and Tim Quarterman will be back as they were the 3rd and 4th leading scorers for Baton Rouge U Hoops in the 2014-125 season.

Martin is projected on my 2015 NBA Draft Board as a mid to late 1st rounder and would be a steal in the 2nd round if he fell...

The San Antonio Spurs came out firing on all cylinder with a 29-17 first frame that had the Mavs back on their heels. Dallas though came right back in the 2nd with a 26-17 frame as it was 46-43 Spurs with Kawhi Leonard leading the Spurs with 11 points and Monta Ellis leading Dallas with 15 which was a prelude of what was to come from Jackson, Mississippi's "Mississippi Lightning"!

The Mavs came out in the 3rd blazing and after the Spurs TP9 made that first basket pushing Team S.A.S. lead to 48-43 the Mavs would go on a 33-18 run to lead the Spurs by ten after three 76-66. Monta would go for 13 in that frame and 28 for the game through three.    

Sam Antonio with all that "Fight for Larry" Experience and multiple Parade Routes made it interesting cutting a Dallas lead that was 16 points at 87-71 over the eight minute mark to 97-90 with a minute and some change left in the game. After two "Parsons in a Deep Ellum Tree" free throws and a "Mississippi Lightning" J the Mavs win 101-94.

Along with Ellis' game-high 38 it was Parsons 15 points and six boards with Dirk adding 15 points and grabbing 13 boards. The Mavs G.O.A.T. also joins that 25K point and 10K rebound club that few get to with a rebound in the 3rd.

Looking at the final score in this one doesn't do it any justice as the game was nip and tuck throughout the 1st half for a 52-49 Warriors lead. Somewhere in between getting replenishment and the chalk talk and 2nd warm up the Wizards lost all sense of where they were and who they were playing.

A 25-9 run in the 3rd frame culminated by the Wizards going 1 for 18 as they missed three money balls included in that and made the only bucket of the frame to the right of the foul line some 12 feet. That horrendous 3rd put the Wizards back some 24 points by the score 81-57.

The Wizards falling to 40-31 as they are trying to run down the #4 seed Chicago Bulls gets a dozen from both Bradley Beal and Ramon Sessions. John Wall had eleven shooting 4 for 16 and 0 for 3 from deep.

Dubs (57-13) finishes going through the Eastern Conference at home at a 14-1 clip. They are also 34-2 at home with five more games to play at Planet Oracle of the dozen games remaining.

Mirotic led the Bulls attack with 28 points as he grabbed eight boards. He wasn't alone as Pau of Spain added 27 points and a dozen boards as Chicago was tremendous on "D". They shot just 3 for 16 from deep and 21 for 29 from the stripe.

Charlotte led 49-48 at the break as the Bulls made a run in the 3rd moving into the lead 74-69. Kemba Walker kept Buzz City in it to win it with a game-high 29 as he as a real treat in the 4th. Bulls had an 86-80 lead right under the four minute mark and closes on a 12-6 run.

The "See Red Butler" back in action for Da Bulls added 19 points and nine boards with Aaron Brooks 13 points and ten assists. Bulls move to 43-29 stays three games back of the Cavs. Bulls also clinch a playoff spot.

He is right in the middle of the "Fight for Mo" Conversation at Bluedue Sportstalk and that would be the Maurice Podoloff Trophy awarded the Logo's most valuable player. James Harden making is only trip to Circle City didn't disappoint if you came to see him dropping a 44-piece with two sides on "Gold Swagger" for a 110-100 win.

Harden had 15 at the end of the first and just 18 points at the break with H-Town Pro Hoops leading 53-39. Nike Basketball's "Beard Project" would then go for broke in the 2nd half scoring 26 points in that half including 19 points and the 4th and decisive frame.

With the Rockets leading 76-68 after three with George Hill (15 pts after three) and CJ Watson (12 pts after three) doing work in the Pacers back court Harden put on a show scoring that 19 including two from deep.

The Pacers were within seven at 101-94  with 1:12 remaining as the Rockets would close on a 9-6 run. Houston almost shot the magic numbers of %0% FG 50% 3 pt FG 80% FT as they go 47% FG 54% 3 pt FG and 94% from the stripe. The Rockets from the stripe at a 35 of 37 clip with Harden 21 for 22. If your going to lead the Logo in scoring or among the top 5 you must get to the line and be at a 80% clip or higher that is a proven fact over the years.

Pacers were led by Watson's 23 points off the bench as they were +12 in offensive rebounds but committed 18 turnovers to Houston's 19.

The Rockets Harden getting the M.V.P. would be nice but its bigger than that as they move to 47-23 just 2.5 games back of the Southwest leading Grizz. Rockets are also at th #3 slot in the West for the playoff seeding.

The Chicago Blackhawks looked as though they were going to fold the Carolina Hurricanes like a good old lawn chair and chuck it into the garage. They took a 2-0 lead after one as Andrew Shawn scored first his 11th making it 1-0 Hawks. Just 79 seconds after he "Lit the Lamp" Patrick Sharp scores his 13th making it 2-0 Hawks as they had numerous other opportunities early but missed.

Carolina settled down after that storm the Hawks created in frame one as did their blue-paint tenant Anton Khudobin. The 'Canes after Hawks net minder Corey Crawford had shut them down in frame one gets a score by Victor Rask making it 2-1 Hawks. Both goalies after that tightened as did the "D" and there would be no more scoring in frame two.

The Game would get down to the last minute as the 'Canes pulled Khudobin as Shaw would get the Hawks empty-netter his 12th of 2014-15 for a final score of 3-1 Indian Head. This is after the 'Canes out shot the Hawks 44-25 but "Craw-Dad" in net was sensational stopping 43 of 44 SOG and that bodes well for the Hawks moving into April Hockey.

The Indian Head moves to 94 points at 44-22-6 trailing the Central leading Blue Notes by three points as they have 97 points with the 2nd place "Preds" at 96 points...go figure!
