The Hawks strike back in the 2nd scoring the only goal in that frame on a Sheldon Brookbank Slapper to make it 2-1 Pens. The Hawks had few chances but kept it busy in the 3rd until the Pens strike with #3 behind "Sid the Kid" Crosby making it 3-01 Pens. Then with just over a minute and a half left Sid gets an Empty Netter to ice it at 4-1.
The Hawks only had two penalties both in the 2nd frame. Both teams were busiest in the 2nd frame with 1 Shots on Goal apiece. The Indiana Pacers slowly but surely are feeling the pressure and not handling too well as they lose in C-Town at the "Q" to the Kyrie-Less Cavaliers. Indy's Offensive Struggles and Woes have them watching the Heat more than their liking. Meanwhile the Cavs just keep plotting along as though they are in the East Race for a "Fight for Larry" Seed.
Behind a 49-36 lead at the break the Cleveland Cavaliers bumped that lead to 73-58 after three frames. They then sloe the game leading by as much as 19 at 84-65 at the six minutes mark as the Pacers were playing as though Vogel and Company had waved the White Flag after the 3rd. Cavs go onto win comfortably 90-76 and the Pacers are officially Merlin in "Top Gun" holding on tom tight and giving their Wings to the Heat.
The Cavs get six players in double figures led by former 'Cuse Star Dion Waiters and his 19 points, Luol Deng adds 15 points and five boards with Big Spencer Hawes 13 points and five rebounds. The Cavs shot right at 45% to the Pacers 37% and the game had a combined 30 turnovers which is way too many split down the middle.
The Pacers were led by PG-24's 15 points and seven boards with D-West adding 14 points. Lance Stephenson 11 points and seven rebound performance along with George and West were the only Pacers in double figures. "Area 55" (6 pts 5 rebs 3 TO) has come back down to Earth as if he isn't play the Heat...what is he playing for?
Cavs move to 30-45 as the Pacers at 52-22 leads the Heat but one game as the Heat are 50-22 and so much for winning last Wednesday for the Pacers versus the Heat that means a Hill of Van Kamp's Pork n Beans right now!

#7 UCONN 70 #4 MICHIGAN State 64...HUSKIES "D" and Numbers at the STRIPE knocks out IZZONE & Company...CAMPUS HARDWOOD from Wolrd's Most Famous with STORRS U heading to JERRY's HOUSE for the Final 4 #UCONNvsMichSt #Huskies #Sparty
The UConn Huskies shoot 41 of 44 in two games in the East Region when it counted most. They also guarded better than any team outside of the Michigan State Spartans to capture the East Region and head to the 2014 Final Four in Dallas, Texas.
Behind UConn's Super Guard Duo of Shabazz Napier and Ryan Boatright and the play of Small Forward DeAndre Daniels...the Huskies out last the Spartans 70-64 at New MSG. Napier had a game-high 25 points with Boatright adding 11 but they combined to shoot 13 of 13 from the Stripe. Throw in Daniels' 12 points and eight boards (4-5 FT) and those three accounted for 48 of UConn's 70 points and 17 of 18 from the Stripe.
State not making any excuses didn't play well and that had a lot to do with the UConn Defense. Sparty committed 16 turnovers to UConn's 8 and also shot 8 Free Throws to UConn's 22 and that was the difference in the game along with the Defense played by the Huskies. It was the unforced and Live Turnovers that spelled "Gloom and Doom" for Green as they will look back on this one and wish they would have taken care of the Orange a little better. Super Soph Gary Harris led with 22 points with Senior Adreian Payne adding 13 points and nine boards. They were the only two SPartans in double figures.
UConn will meet the 36-2 Florida Gators in Dallas as Sparty ends a magnificent 2013-14 season at 29-9...

Will Dodgers CF Star Matt Kemp stay healthy as his 2013 was marred by an Injury to his right ankle? The Padres made strides towards the end of 2013 and can they build on that momentum to get out the gate fast in 2014?

CLIPPERS 118 ROCKETS 107...CP3 and HARDEN go PPV but the CLIPS get the "W"...LOGO WATCH on the CLIPS Team Charter on a Motel Swing #CLIPPERnation #LOBcity #CLIPSgang #TeamDonaldSterling
The Houston Rockets jumped out the LA Clipper early with that "Playing in front of the Home Folks and Tickets Left at Will Call" Adrenaline Rush. The Clips though stayed the course after being down 33-23 after one was down 61-58 at the break. These are far from those LA Sports Arena/Donald Sterling at the Playboy Mansion Clippers...far from it!
Behind 30 points and waiting on a dozen tables from Point God of Jordan Brand CP3...the Clips strike in the 2nd half. Leading 88-84 after three frames the Clips defensively took apart the Rockets methodically and cruise to a 118-107 "W". Rockets Leading man James Harden had a game-high 32 points on 9 of 22 shooting. The Rockets were without "Dwight of Three Stripes" Howard and the Clips in the paint took full advantage of it. DeAndre Jordan added 20 points and twelve boards while Jamal 206 Crawford went for 22. "Game Night with Blake" left in the 1st frame with Back Spasms.
The Rockets just didn't have enough in the paint without Dwight to make things happen late. Chandler Parsons added 28 points and grabbed nine boards with Omer Asik doing his best Dwight Impersonation going double double with 12 points and eleven boards. Red Nation committed 19 turnovers and was -15 from the Arc.
Clippers move to 52-22 and two games ahead of the Rocket in the 3rd slot. The Rockets fall to 49-23 as they lead the Rip City Blazers by just three games for the #4 slot in the West.

SEVENTY-SIXERS 123 PISTONS 98...#27 in a Row will have to wait as PHILLY picks up its First Win since January 2014 as they SPANK the Motor City...LOGO WATCH with "Elephant in the Locker Room moving to the PISTONS Locker Room" Episode #SIXERnation #76ERS
Cheese Steaks for everyone who attended the Pistons/Sixers Outing as Philly runs right past the Motor City Pistons 123-98 after leading 70-51 at the break. Have to give the Sixers Credit as no one NBA Team wants the dubious distinction of having the most consecutive losses as a Team in any sport. Sixers Lead Man Brett Brown has to be the happiest man in the "City of Brotherly Love" as we go to press. As for the Pistons...they have been...and still are a Science Project that is not headed for Win, Place, or Show as they need to hit a Reset Button for the 2014-15 season.
Philly put up those Magic Numbers you look for when putting up W's in the Logo...180. This means 50% from the field, 50% from the Arc, and 80% from the Stripe...and the Sixers hit all of them. They get 21 points, seven boards, and four helpers from Rook Stud PG M.C.W.. They also get 21 points from Thaddeus Young dba Thad-Ex from Memphis. The Sixers paced five players in double figures as the Pistons didn't come to play one bit.
Pistons PG Brandon Jennings has been a huge disappointment as he was suppose to be the big Catch along with Josh Smith. Jennings get ejected in the 1st Frame arguing "Balls and Strikes" as Philly had started to pull away then. Greg Monroe led the Motor City with 20 points and ten boards with Kyle Singler of #DukeInTheNBA the only two Pistons Starters in double figures. Rodney Stuckey led Detroit off the bench with 17.
Sixers move to 16-57 with Detroit falling to 26-47 and Joe Dumars Seat has to be sizzling...really!

#2 WISCONSIN 64 #1 ARIZONA 63...BEAR Down goes Down by a "Whole Bunch of BADGERS" U...Big KAMINSKY goes 5-Star and U-DUB Madison heads to Big D with CHEESE n BRATS n BADGER Nation in tow...CAMPUS HARDWOOD with the BIG 10 moving on in Pac 12 Country #BADGERnation #UWMadison #Big10
The West Bracket held true as the #1 Seed Arizona Wildcats and the #2 Seed Wisconsin Badgers squared off for a chance to get to Jerry's House in Texas. The Pac 12 Champion 'Cats did what they could but ran into a 7-Footer in the end they could not handle.
A see saw affair at the "Pond" in Anaheim as the 'Cats and Badgers went Extras to get a winner. Behind 7' former Benet Academy in Lisle, Illinois Star Frank Kaminsky's game-high 28 points and 111 Oranges along with smooth Bloodline PG Traevon Jackson (10 pts 5 asst) Wisconsin just made enough plays to win the ball game. Neither Team shot it well enough from two or three to say they win the game from there but it just came down to Key Players making Key Plays to decide the outcome. 'Zona just had no answer for Kaminsky who was also 3 for 5 from the "Land of Plenty".
"Desert Swarm" played well enough to win as they get 16 points from Pac-12 Player of the Year Nick Johnson who never really got on track Offensively in both game splayed in Anaheim. Big Kaleb Tarczewski added 12 points and four rebounds with Freshmen Rondae Hollis-Jefferson 10 points as the only three 'Cats in double figures. Aaron Gordon in what should be his last game at U of A had eight points but grabbed eighteen Oranges on just 3 for 11 shooting.
Wisconsin now awaits the Winner of the Midwest Bracket between the Kentucky Wildcats and Michigan Wolverines as we could have three Big 10 Teams in Big D...now how about them Apples!

#11 DAYTON 52 #1 FLORIDA 62...GATORS do what they do "GRINDING" in the GRIND House on Beale Street as the Dayton FLYERS stage left after a great run...CAMPUS HARDWOOD w/ South Region CHampion GATORS of the Swamp Thing #UF #BillyBall #GatorChop
It's not pretty by any stretch but the results are awe-inspiring as Billy Donovan and his Gators run trough the South Region like they did the SEC and head back to North Dallas for the 2014 Final Four. The Gators try to avenge that Elite 8 loss to the Wolverines back in 2013 in Jerry's House the Scene of the 2014 Final Four.
The Gators just forced their "Pace" on the Flyers who came in averaging 72 ppg and they only get 52. 2013-14 SEC P.O.Y. Scott Wilbekin continues his smooth assault on the opposition be getting a game-high 23 points (8-10 FT) while controlling both ends for UF. UK Senior Patric Young (2010 Mc Donald's All-American) added 12 points and grabbed six rebounds with Michael Frazier II adding 10 points as the only Gators in double figures. Gators shoot 28 free throws to the Flyers eight free throws and that was the difference in the game.
Dayton bows out after a great effort with Forward DyShawn Pierre leading with 18 points and five boards. Dean Oliver added 12 points and six boards as they were the only two Flyers in double figures. Dayton settled for too many "J's" and they also missed way too many bunnies at the rim. Playing the gators you must capitalize on every opportunity you encounter or you will for sure hit the "L" Column just like the Flyers did.
Florida now awaits the East Regional Winner between the Huskies of UConn and the Spartans of Michigan State.

The Top 5 CLOSERS in the Show for 2014 dba "Captain SAVE-A-GAME" at Bluedude Sportstalk...led by BRAVES Country's Mr. KIMBREL from Madison County, Alabama..."WORD around the WARNING TRACK" talking Closer Role #MLB
The Top Five Closers in the Show for 2014 ironically enough close for some of the best teams projected in 2014. The Closer Role is so vital to a Teams Success and if you have trouble there your chances ultimately decrease in getting to October Hardball. The Braves Craig Kimbrel no doubt leads all Captain Save-A-Game's as he is Money on the back end of that Braves Pen. Who are the other four Closers that are top-notch in the Show for 2014?
Top 5 Captain SAVE-A-GAME for 2014 in the Show in order:
1. Craig Kimbrel #BravesCountry @Kimbrel46
He appeared in 68 games and converted 50 saves in 54 opportunities while allowing just 39 hits and ten ducks to cross the dish. He can go to one of three pitches throwing of course that #1 "Express" with a Slide Piece or "Local". The Braves and Nats will be the Favs getting out the NL East with the Braves having the best Closer of the two teams. Kimbrel had 97 strikeouts in 67 Innings in 2013 with just 20 free passes.

2. Kenley Jansen #DodgerBlue @KenleyJansen74
He mixes in the Express with the "Cutter" and that had him save 28 of 32 in 2013 in which he will dominate that Role for the "Boys in Blue" in 2014. Pitching 76 2/3 Innings striking out 111 Hitters as he appeared in 75 games. He and Kimbrel are the two I would bank my Cash on but the Red Legs Aroldis Chapman is right there.
3. Aroldis Chapman #RedLegs aka Cuban Missile
Unfortunately he took that Line Drive right off the Noggin' and that will have him sidelined for the 1st half of 2014. No one in the Show throw harder than Chapman as his #1 is the Express with a Slide Piece and of course throwing that hard a Change or taking a little off with late movement. He converted 38 of 43 as he struck out some 112 Hitters walking just 29. He did all that damage in just 63 2//3 innings and hopefully he can regain his form after that horrific Spring Training Incident. The Best Closer in the NL Central and the Red Legs need it chasing the favorite Redbirds and all their pitching.
4. Koji Uehara #Carmines @TeamUehara
After seeing him dominate in the Carmines 2013 Fall Classic Run I was like who is this guy! He can throw at anytime in the count a Fastball, Cutter, Curve, Change, or Split Finger. He closed 21 of 24 games in 2013 with a staggering 101 K's and just 9 Free Passes...nine. If your a Free Swinger facing this guy...you have no shot in h*ll of ever reaching a bag. He also very durable as he is more of a Finesse Closer than Power Closer. The Carmines are one of the Junior Circuit Favs and they have a Dynamic Closer in Japanese Captain Save-A-Game Uehara.
5. Trevor Rosenthal #Redbirds @TrevRosenthal
He came out late in 2013 as the Redbirds didn't have him closing until late. At the ripe age of 23 he will be closing if he stays healthy for the Redbirds for years to come. He threw 75 1/3 Innings in 2013 with 108 K's walking just 20. He throws Fastball, Curve, Change, and Cutter as his out pitch is that Cutter.

GRIZZLIES 93 WARRIORS 100...Team GRIT & GRIND < HUMAN Torch and DUBS All Day...Young STEPH "J" Wet to Death takes down GRIZZ with a little "BUMP & GRIND" from the ARC...LOGO WATCH with a visit in Planet ORACLE on WARRIORS Ground #MEMvsGSW #GnG #DUBnation
Both the Memphis Grizzlies and Golden State Warriors squared off inn the Game of the Night in the Logo with West "Fight for Larry" Seeds up for grabs. A close game all the way to the finish was separated by the Shooting of Warriors All-Star Guard Steph Curry along with the Warriors controlling the glass surprisingly enough. In the end the Warriors win behind Steph Money Ball and a Runner on Bankers Hours.
Curry had a game-high 33 points (5/8 3pt fg) and eight helpers as Klay-T added 14 points and D-Lee chipped in with 15 points and hauled in eight Oranges. G.S.W. was +21 from the Arc as the Grizz could not buy a Money Ball shooting 2 for 12.
The Grizz gets 21 points and seven boards from Z-Bo with PG Mike Conley Jr. adding 20 points and six rebounds. Gasol playing "BIG" in the middle with 17 points and seven boards as the Grizz had no answer for Curry. To make matters worse the Grizz falls to #8 at 43-29 a game ahead of the #9 Mavs who are 43-30. The Warriors holding steady at 45-27 is just a game behind the #5 Rip City Blazers who is back on that Train....the L-Train!

#8 KENTUCKY 74 #4 LOUISVILLE 69...'CATS make it "TWICE as NICE" as this one counted more as #WeRUK advances to the Elite 8...CAMPUS HARDWOOD March Madness Bluegrass State Style #UKCats #KentuckyBasketball #BBN #UofLCards
The game came down to the Cards not making the necessary plays at the end to win the ball game or shall i say...put the game away. Give UK credit as they kept their composure and stayed the course and they win the game and advance to the Elite 8.
Kentucky down 64-57 at the five minute mark closed the game on a 17-5 run which included a couple of "And Ones" and a Dagger Money Ball from one of the Harrison Twins that put them ahead to stay. Louisville Star Senior Guard Russ Smith was RUSS-diculous as the 'Cats had no answer for him. Russ goes out with 23 points not leaving anything left as his potential game-tying Money Ball was for not shooting it over UK's Julius Randle. Luke Hancock the Card other Top Senior added 19 points as he was saddled with foul trouble early but came on late to be a factor down the stretch for the 'Cards. U of L Super Soph Montrezl Harrell had 15 points and grabbed eight boards playing semi-aggressive in and out of foul trouble all night long.
It was just too much of the 'Cats Bench in Freshman Dakari Johnson (Montverde Prep Academy Florida and HS Teammate PG Kasey Hill of the Florida Gators)) and Sophomore Alex Proythress who did the damage to the 'Ville. Johnson had a career-high 15 points and six rebounds with Proythress adding six huge points. Julius Randle goes double-double with 15 points and a dozen Oranges as James Young added 9 as he was too saddled with foul trouble all night long. The Harrison Twins combined for 29 points, eight boards, and seven assists while only turning the Orange over three times. They came in turning it over nine times per and that was also big for UK.
Kentucky now faces the Michigan Wolverines in the Midwest Region Final on Sunday...
360 Degrees...Louisville finishes 31-6 with two of the six L's at the hands of their much-hated Rival the UK 'Cats...just sayin'!

#11 TENNESSEE 71 #2 MICHIGAN 73...ROCKY Top trading "MONEY BALLS" for "HIGH-PERCENTAGE" almost worked in the end...WOLVERINES move on to the Elite 8 but not after almost getting the Lead Role in "SUPERBAD 2"...CAMPUS HARDWOOD from that House that Manning, Edge, Marvin, Freeney, Mathis, and Coach Dungy Built...#UM #VOLS
The Michigan Wolverines are going to shoot the Money Ball and shoot it better than your going to shoot it. The Tennessee Volunteers knew that and they had the right game plan as they just ran out of time. The Wolverines escape with a 73-71 "W" but not after the Vols furious comeback.
UM was leading 60-45 at the eleven minute mark when the Vols go on a 11- 2 run to cut that lead to 62-56 Michigan. Then with under a minute to play the Vols cut it to 72-71 with some "Helter Skelter" going on in the Maize and Blue Camp and Jonah Hill waiting to cut "Superbad 2" with all those darn turnovers Michigan was having. The Wolverines then close the deal on an Offensive Foul on Vols Big Jarnell Stokes getting a Charge called on him with six seconds remaining. I know what your thinking Vols Nation "Stay Calm and for you Folks over 21 years of age and a Part of Rocky Top...think Lynchburg, Tennessee and my main man "Jack".
Wolverines shot 11-20 from the Arc with the Vols shooting just 3 for 11. The Wolverines also had 13 turnovers compared to the Vols committing just seven. Both Teams shoot over 50% from the Field as it was UM shooting over 55% from Deep that was the difference. UM was led by Josh Morgan's 15 points and seven boards and Nik Stauskas adding 14March Madness, . The Voles were led by Leading Scorer Jordan McRae's 24 points and four blocks and Josh Richardson's 19 points.
UM will await the Winner of Kentucky vs Louisville to be played on Sunday...

EAST Region Sweet 16 from World's Most Famous....
#7 UConn vs #3 Iowa State 7:27pm ET
The Huskies have been doing behind every body's All-American in PG Shabazz Napier with his underrated Sidekick Ryan Boatright. The Cyclones play "Mayor Ball" and they are talented when it comes to Guard Play as Melvin Egim and DeAndre Kane are the leaders. Who can play bigger in the Paint will determine who wins as well as which Guard out play the other guards. UNC tried to play "Big" on the Cyclones and it worked in stretches. The Huskies need someone else besides Napier to step up and that might be former 2011 Illinois Mr. Basketball Boatright. Kane took apart UNC with 24 points and ten boards as he also had seven Turnovers.
Winner: Iowa State
#4 Michigan State vs #1 Virginia 9:57pm ET
The Spartans are primed for another Trip to the Final 4 and they are everyones Glamour Pick as some Heavies have fallen. All-American Sniper Gary Harris is a real Treat at the Arc, driving to the Rack, and in Transition taking the Elevator along with Brandon Dawson. Can PG Keith Appling get back to what Appling does with that Wrist Issue? Sparty Big "House of Payne" in Adreiane Payne has been Lottery Pick-Esque in the Tourney and will, that continues. The Wahoos come in the no-name bunch unless you reside in ACC Land. They are the other aide of the Wisconsin Badgers in coached extremely well and they do what they do. Malcolm Brogdon, London Perrantes, and Joe Harris lead that vaunted Cavs Three-Guard Attack and it has been straight "Butta" not Parkay in the 2013-14 season. Can they keep Green off the Glass and slow Sparty down? This game will be dictated by the all important "Pace" and nothing else as the Cavs like it in the 50s to 60s and Sparty just likes to play no matter what Pace it is.

Midwest Region Sweet 16 from Circle City, Indiana
#11 Tennessee vs #2 Michigan 7:15pm ET
The Wolverines will have to sloe down that Dynamic Duo of the Vols Inside/Outside Punch in Jarnell Stokes (14.7 ppg) and Jordan McRae (18.6 ppg). Rocky Top in turn will have to guard the Arc and slow down Nik Stauskas and Glenn Robinson III among others if they want to advance. Both Teams like to get up and down and this should be a dandy and not just a prelude to UK vs the 'Ville in Indy. Three-Point Shooting, Inside Points, and Transition Buckets will be the key as well as the dreaded Foul Line.
Winner: Michigan
#8 Kentucky vs #4 Lousiville 9:45pm ET
Where do you start as UK beat Louisville back on December 28th, 2013 in Rupp 70-63 as both teams have changed drastically. The 'Cats Freshmen have risen to the occasion led by the Fort Bend, TX Travis HS Harrison Twins. Yes they combined to score 39 points on the Wheat Shockers but they also are averaging 9 turnovers per. James Young is the Key Cog to UK's Success while Julius Randle with Willie Cauley-Stein need to play even bigger in the Paint. RUSS-diculous is a Monster for the 'Ville and March Madness is his Planet. He will need Luuuuuuuuuuke Hancock to be Luke and Montrezl Harrell also needs help in the Paint. Chris Jones has been huge playing off Russ and they have been dynamite feeding off each other. The Money Ball along with Live Turnovers will be a huge factor in this one.

STEELERS pick up the R.V. in RB BLOUNT...TRIPLE DIAMOND Chronicles with the STEELERS talking new Backfield Monster #SteelerNation #SteelerGang
The Pittsburgh Steelers had a few Backs in for visits including new Raiders RB "Pocket Hercules" Mo Jones-Drew as the Steelers have decided on a Two-Year Deal with Pats RB Legarrette Blount. Blount will join forces with Starting 2nd-year RB Le'Veon Bell of Sparty as the Steelers slowly and methodically are making key acquisitions in Free Agency.
The R.V. what they called him Pats Nation ran for 772 yards and seven in your End Zone in 2013 as the Pats were trying to gauge the Market Value on Blount with the Purple Browns also interested in the 250 lb Back.
Previously he spent 4 seasons with #ItsABucsLife rushing for over 2,700 yards and twenty in your End Zone. This should be a nice pick up with Steelers New O-Line Coach Mike Munchak in the fold.

#1 Seeds ARIZONA and FLORIDA advance to Sweet 16 along with #2 WISCONSIN and the Glass-Slipper Wearing FLYERS of DAYTON...Campus Hardwood headed to the ELITE 8 in the WEST & SOUTH Regions #Cats #Gators #Badgers #Flyers
The Arizona Wildcats get by the the rugged SDSU Aztecs and the "Show" 70-64. The 'Cats Heralded Freshmen of Aaron Gordon (15 pts 6 rebs) and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (15 pts 6 rebs) held down the fort long enough for Pac-12 Player of the Year Nic Johnson to get going. "Nick the Quick" was 0-10 until he finally got a lay-up late then hit the game-breaking Money Ball as he ended up with 15 points and eight boards as he iced the game from the Stripe going 10 for 10. SDSU's Senior Lead Guard "X-Man" Xavier Thames had a game-high 25 points as he had control of the game until the 'Cats took a lead late in the 2nd half.
The Wisconsin Badgers will meet the 'Cats out West on Saturday for a chance to head to Dallas, Texas for the 2014 Final Four. The Badgers controlled the game from the onset versus the Baylor Bears and won 69-52 going away. Badgers PG Traevon Jackson (son of former Buckeye Star and NBA Vet Jim Jackson) led the attack with 7 points, seven boards, and five assists. Badgers Big Frank Kaminsky had a game-high 19 points with Sniper Ben Brust adding 14. The Bears shot just 31% from the field and 13% from the Arc as they were led by Cory Jefferson's 15 points and seven boards.
The Florida Gators the #1 Seed in the West slowly let UCLA unravel as the Gators beat the Bruins 79-68. Gator Snipe Michael Frazier II was on his game from the Arc hitting on 5 for 8 from Deep with a game-high 19 points. SEC Player of the Year Scottie Wilbekin added 13 points with Casey Prather chipping in with 12 as the Gators were +15 from the Arc. The Bruins get 17 points from Leading Scorer Jordan Adams but was 3 for 18 from deep. UCLA PG Kyle Anderson in most likely his last game as a Bruin added 11 points, nine rebounds, and five helpers.
Florida will meet the Cinderella Dayton Flyers as they have been bringing it. They tore apart a bigger Stanford Team 82-72 with again a "All Flyers on the Hardwood" Approach. Flyers Guard Jordan Sibert had a team-high 18 points as PF Dean Oliver added 12 points and seven boards. The Flyers shot nearly 50% from the field as the Cardinals get a game-high 21 points from Chasson Randle and five rebounds. Dwight Powell chipped in with 17 points and nine boards as Stanford just could get any rhythm against the feisty Flyers.

LAKERS 105 BUCKS 108...LAKER Gang gets hit by the "KNIGHT Rider" and not David Hasselhoff but #WeRUK and the #BBN BRANDON KNIGHT of the 305....LOGO WATCH with LAKER Nation in a "DEER in the Headlights" Scenario #LAKERgang #BUCKSnation #FearTheDEER
The Lakers were in a solid position to leave the BMO Harris Bradley Center with a "W" until they lost their Lunch late in the 3rd frame. In a game that was just 55-53 Bucks at the break the Lakers played well enough in the 3rd to only have a seven point deficit at 87-80. It was the Bucks Guards who was the difference tonight as they clearly outplayed to sneak by Team 16 Chips in somewhat of a shocker depending on who you talk to 108-105.
It was former Kentucky Star Point Guard and Pistons Lottery Pick Brandon "Knight Rider" Knight that netted a game-high 30 points on the Lakers as Knight's Play has quietly evolved in the 2013-14. Ex-Lakers PG Ramon Sessions added 22 points and waited on five Bucks Tables as Milwaukee was +16 in Free throw Attempts on the Lakers and that is just unacceptable considering the Bucks were without three starters.
Lakers were led by a huge effort from Jordan Hill as he goes for 28 points and grabs sixteen boards. "Nick at Nite" dba "Swagy P" Nick Young added 17 points as the Lakers amassed 20 turnovers to the Bucks 18. Lakers will forget the Season but for the most of the Lakers it will interesting who they keep for 2013-14 with most on 12 month deals.
Lakers fall to 24-47 with the Bucks moving to 14-58 as you can't win the 2014 NBA Draft Lottery...if you don't lose! I cannot stress that enough NBA Teams....lose all you d*mn games in April to ensure you have the most Lottery Balls..its not Rocket Science...or is the fix on?

BLAZERS 100 HAWKS 85...the Logo's only "LOCOMOTIVE" made a stop at the Highlight Factory 404 and the HAWKS were in for a Real Treat!...LOGO WATCH with RIP City's L-TRAIN making a Station Stop on Peachtree #BLAZERmania #RiPCityBLAZERS
The Portland Trailblazers needed it as they avoid a full Avalanche in the West and get back into the Win Column as they jumped on their Train. The Hawks trying to stave off Knicks Tape had to be thinking when they heard that Train was coming, "Can we Derail It"?
The Blazers behind All-Star LaMarcus "L-Train" Aldridge 25 points and hauling in sixteen Oranges...they beat the Atlanta Hawks 100-85. Rip City leading 53-37 at the break held on despite the Hawks cutting the lead to 80-74 a little over midway through the 4th. Blazers were +18 from the Arc an +8 on the glass. PG Damian Lillard added 21 points and dropped four dimes as he and L-Train led six Blazers in double figures.
The Hawks holding on to that vaunted #8 seed in the East gets 22 points from PG Jeff Teague and 16 points from Hawks Super-Sub Lou Williams off the bench as the Hawks lead on Knicks Tape shrinks to 1.5 games. Poor Shooting from the Arc (4-22) put Atlanta in harm's way as All-Star Milsap only had 10 points and six boards.
Rip City moves to 46-27 maintaining the #5 seed just a game over the Warriors but 3.5 games behind the Rockets for the #4 seed.

BLACKHAWKS 0 BRUINS 3...Team FINLAND's Net Minder TUUUUUUUUUKKA Rask puts a Lid on the Net as SPOKES rollover the INDIAN HEAD..."FROZEN TALK" 1901 West Madison "Get out of BEAN Town HAWKS" Episode #OneGoal #FearTheINDIANHead #HawksNation
The Boston Bruins showed why they have been so dominant the last two months and change as they handle the Blackhawks behind Finnish Net Minder Tuukka Rask. The Hawks were in the game but never really appeared to be of any kinda threat to the Bruins.
The Hawks brought the #1 Offense in Ice Games 2013-14 to the Garden and it was like a No Show". That Bruins "D" #1 in Ice Games in 2013-14 ass better "D" always beats better "O" has been on a tear behind Rask and Spokes 5-Star Defenseman Zdeno Chara. The Indian Head was 0-2 on the PP, was out hit 30-15, and and lose 29 of 53 face offs. Spokes 5-Star Two-Way Center Patrice Bergeron scored the first goal and the last goals sandwiched in the middle by Carl Soderberg's score in the 3rd. The two scored in the 3rd were just 13 seconds apart and that's what kind of night it was for the Hawks and Net Minder Corey Crawford.
Hawks out shot the Spokes 28-23 but that means a "Hill of Beans" when you hit the Loss Column. Hawks fall to 42-17-15 and stays at 99 points. The Spokes move to an NHL Leading 106 points and 50-17-6....yikes!

MIGGY and the TIGERS go 120 Months of "Str24ght Cash Homie"...After "MAD Max of Comerica" turned down a deal less than VERLANDER...MIGGY goes to the Table and gets All of what the MOTOR City had to offer..."WORD around the WARNING Track" talking CABRERA, Cash, and a Chip @MiguelCabrera #MotorCityKitties
The Detroit Tigers made an Offer to Ace 1B in "Mad Max beyond Comerica" dba Max Scherzer a week or so ago and it was too low for him and his peoples (Agent Scott Boras) liking. The Tigers then move to the bigger signing and they strike a deal with the best hitter in the Show and Venezuela stand up for you Dude Miggy Cabrera!
Miggy and the Tigers agree in principle to a $297 Million Deal that includes 120 Months worth of the 162 Game Trek (1620 Games not counting "Fight for October") and that is bigger than both A-Rod's Yankees Deal and the Halos' "El Hombre" dba Albert Pujols Deal. The Motor City Kitties are just hoping that "Miggy" Doings on and off the Diamond doesn't compare to those two Cash Cows.
Cabrera will turn just 31 in April and he is the only Player in the Show with at least 100 Ducks or more knocked in off the Pond in 10 straight seasons. He is also is the reigning M.V.P. on the Junior Circuit in 2012 and 2013. He also boasts a .321 average and 365 "Big Flies". With Miggy in the fold and Scott Boras being Scherzer's Agent it looks like "Mad Max" will walk after the 2014 season. The 2013 AL Cy Young Winner Scherzer will have major suitors and if he duplicates anything close to those 2013 Numbers on the Bump he could and should be in the same neighborhood as one Dodgers Ace Clayton Kershaw or just as much as Verlander's Deal....stay tuned!

KNOWSHON joins AQUA Boyz 305...United in Orange Free Agent RB KNOWSHON MORENO joins the PHINS on a 12 Month Deal...SUNDAY TALK with MORENO heading to the 305 for that Sunday ACTION! #DolphinsPride #AquaBoyz305 #PHINnation @KnowshonMoreno
Through numerous Media Outlets Denver Broncos Free Agent Running and former "Between the Hedges" Star RB Knowshon Moreno will get a 1-year deal to join the Miami Dolphins. Moreno will give the Phins a Two-Headed Monster as Lamar Miller also is back there.
Moreno a former Broncos 1st rounder finally showed his promise in 2013 but by then the writing was on the wall. In 156 games in 2013 Moreno amassed 1,038 yards on just 241 touches and was in your end zone ten times. Before 2013 his Rookie Season was his best rushing for just under 1K yards at 947 on 247 carries. Also with Manning Mile High he caught 60 pigs in 2013 for 548 yards for three TDs showing his versatility.
Now there are no excuses for the Phins QB Ryan Tannehill as the Phins add another Weapon on the Ground to go with what should be a pretty explosive attack in 2014.

CLIPPERS @ MAVS...Big D 3-2 on current 8-Game Home Stand gets the CLIPS on LOB City's 2nd Leg of a back to back Motel Swing...LOGO WATCH w/PLAYBOOK with MAVS and CLIPS on the Western Conference "Fight for Larry" Seeds Clock #LACvsDAL #CLIPPERnation #MAVSgang
The Clippers fall into Big D after a loss last night at the Big Smoothie in NOLA to the Pelicans. Now Lob City holding down the #3 slot in the West is just a game ahead of the #4 Red Nation Rockets. More importantly they are 5.5 up in the Pacific over the 2nd place Warriors.
The Mavs Situation is way more complicated as they are tied W-L (43-29) with Phoenix but sit in the #9 seed. The Mavs did help themselves by beating OKC as they are just 3-2 on their current 8-Game Home Stand. Mavs need to win out and no better time to get the Clips than on the 2nd leg of a back to back Motel Swing.

WEST Region Game Previews...BEARS collide with BADGERS...and the "SHOW" from SDSU battles the U of A 'CATS...from the "POND" in Anaheim, California #BAYvsWIS #SDSUvaARIZ
West Region Sweet 16 from Anaheim, California
#6 Baylor vs #2 Wisconsin 7:47pm ET
This will be a Test in the Paint as Isaiah Austin will go up against arguably the best Big he has faced in 2013-14 in Wisconsin's Frank Kaminsky. Three-Point Shooting will be at a Premium as Brady Heslip of Baylor vs Badger Sharp Shooters like Josh Gasser. Can the Baylor Bears slow down Badger PG Treavon Jackson and SF Sam Dekker? Can the Badgers slow down Cory Jefferson and Kenny Chery? This is Wisconsin Lead Man Bo Ryan's best Offensive Team he has had in Madison and they can get out in Transition. Can Baylor control the "Pace" and the 'Paint" as this one should go down to the wire.
Winner: Wisconsin
#4 San Deigo State vs #1 Arizona 10:17 pm ET
The Clash that happened in Game 2 of the Aztecs 2013-14 Season the Wildcats smashed SDSU and now the "Show" is more prepared. With Athletes everywhere in this one with the "City of Angels" and Northern California HS Basketball will be on full display as the Aztecs meet the 'Cats in Southern Cali...Imagine That! SDSU'S Point God Xavier Thames dba X-Man is the Key Cog for the "Show". 'Cats All-American Combo Guard Nick Johnson is one of the best Two-Way Players in America and he jumps off of a Trampoline. The X-Factors are the other Players for both. Who will have the best Supporting Cast as U of A's Freshman Star Aaron Gordon is a Load with his Versatility as Dwayne Polee II is no chop liver for SDSU. Something has to give as I feel we might have to go Shirts & Skins in this one!

South Region Sweet 16 from Memphis, Tennessee....
#11 Dayton vs #10 Stanford 7:15pm ET
The Flyers are going to have to play their style obviously and Stanford has to play "Big" through Dwight Powell and Stefan Nastic. The Flyers have the advantage through Guard Play as the Cards didn't handle the Kansas Pressure too well. Dayton is well-balanced with their Top Three Scorers in Jordan Sibert (12.4 ppg), Devin Oliver (11.9 ppg), and DyShawn Pierre (11.2 ppg) and it will be up to Cards Guards Chasson Randle and Anthony Brown to slow them down. Expect the Score to be inn the low 50s as Dayton has controlled both games they have played in leading up to the Sweet 16.
Winner: Stanford
#4 UCLA vs #1 Florida 9:45pm ET
Bruisnmatch up extremely well with the Gators as Scott Wilbekin vs Norman Powell should be the Key Match Up at PG. Also Kyle Anderson who is a 6-8 PG will get plenty of attention from the likes of Casey Prather and Will Yeguete as Anderson controls the "Pace" for the Bruins. In the Paint the Wear Twins (Travis & David) will have their hands full slowing down Gators Patric Young and keeping him off the glass. Bruins SF Jordan Adams is the X-Factor for UCLA with Michael Frazier II the X-Factor for the Gators. Gators playing "Billy Ball" can adjust to any style and that has been their Trademark in the 2013-14 Season. Both Teams like to get out in Transition and Transition "D" will be a huge factor.

NETS 111 bobCATS 116 F OT...BROOKLYN loses a tough one as KEMBA and Big AL join forces to become the 2014-15 Charlotte HORNETS dba Team TEAL...sorry San Jose Sharks...LOGO WATCH with something finally brewing under the JORDAN Watch #bobCATS #mikeCATS #HornetsOfHiveDrive #HiveIsAlive
The Brooklyn Nets trailing the Dinosaurs in the Atlantic by just two game scoring in have been surging as the Division Title is still within reach,. The Charlotte Bobcats have been playing well enough in 2013-14 to get their first Playoff trip in quite sometime and Al Jefferson has been the "Thorn" in everyone backside in the 2nd half...and tonight was no different.
The Nets get a hot start from Point God turned back to Point Guard Deron Williams as he rose up and knock down 29 points (20 pts in the 1st half) while waiting on seven Brooklyn Tables. The Story though as we went into Extra Frames was the play of the 'Cats Dynamic Duo of Al Jefferson and Kemba Walker.
The Game was nip and tuck throughout as both Teams are jockeying for East Playoff Seeds and the 'Cats to their credit reached back for a little extra. Al Jefferson had a game-high 35 points and hauled in fifteen Oranges. Kemba Walker his "Partner in Crime" when the 'Cats are most dangerous added 20 points and waited on a dozen 'Cats Tables as Charlotte wins 116-111 in OT. The Nets had nothing in the Paint to stop Big AL but no one has since that East All-Star Reserves were announced. Joe Johnson 18 points and Mirza Teletovic 20 points to back up D-Will as this loss will sting if they cannot get the Atlantic Division Belt.
'Cats move to 35-37 and that is good for #7 in the east. The Nets fall to 37-33 and they are currently #5 in the East ahead of the #6 Wiz Kids D.C..

There is a lot of back and forth when these two teams get together as the Heart have what the Pacers want. Both teams tried to turn a 2014 NBA Game to an 1980s NBA Game and neither Team could bust a grape! Having said that Gold Swagger bringing the Hard Hats along with the Heat pull one out as they had to playing in front of the Home Folks as they just held serve.

Keys to the Game:
King James 38 points 8 rebs 5 asst 14/15 FT
Hibbert/West 34 pts 13 rebs
Heat no Balanced Scoring Attack as Wade (15 pts) only other Heat Player in Double Figures
Pacers Four Starters in Double Figures...
PG-24 23 pts 8 rebs 4 asst...but needs to let the game come to him and not get into a Mano y Mano with the King...your going to get hurt young fella!
Heat 18 Turnovers
Where was the Pacers or Heat Bench Play?
Pacers up two game sin the Loss Column as they also hold the Tiebreaker...
Final Analysis
When the Heat stand around and let King James do his thing they take "L" after "L" as they need "All Heat on the Hardwood"...Trust me Heat Nation saw the Bulls from time to time watch Air Jordan and it looks and feels great when your #1 is going O-Zone Layer but others do not get involved and that played right into the Hands of Gold Swagger!
Pacers will beat the Heat if they can plat "Big" and run the Offense through Hibbert and West as you saw tonight...only good things can happen when they get multiple touches on the Offensive End...
Pacers 52-20...Heat 48- 22

BUCCOS will ink MARTE to 72 Months...PIRATES tying up their Core Players extends OF STARLING MARTE for a reported $31 million..."WORD around the WARNING TRACK" BUCCOS Clubhouse Business #PIRATES #BUCSnation #BUCCOS #StarMarteBiz

Marte had trouble with the Leather occasionally but had no problems at the dish. Starting in 135 games Marte scored 83 runs, swiped 41 bags, hit ten triples, and twenty-six doubles with an OPS of .784. He has to cut down on Strikeouts (135) as he only walked 25 times and that is a sign of an impatient young hitter and the Buccos and Marte hopefully will get that Ratio in favor of Marte in the coming years.

Allen coming in the 2014 season with 128.54 Sacks is 12th All-Time and he will be headed North one would think at the age of 32 and the Bears thinking #69 has some games left in the tank. Only Bird Gang DE/OLB John Abraham has more (133.5 and 9th All-Time) has more Red Jersey Collections as Active Players.
Allen will reportedly get $15.5 million in guaranteed cash and $24 million of the $32 million in the first two years of the deal. Bears losing Peppers and Henry Melton had to make a Splash and did so. Now you have Allen on one side and Lamarr Houston on the other side as the Navy & Orange try and improve that Sack Total getting at least some more Pressure if anything else in the 2014 season.

THUNDER 119 MAVS 128...OKC's SLIM Reaper dba @kdTREY5 and MAVS Nation G.O.A.T. dba @swish41 both hit the PHONE BOOTH for all to see as DIRK-iliscious and MAVS Gang strike...LOGO WATCH as the STARS came to play #MAVSnation #MAVSgang #ThunderUP @kdTREY5 @Swish41 go Clark Kent!
I told you in the Pre-Game in order for the Mavs to pull this one out Dirk had to either Hit the Phone Booth or guzzle down a few 5-Hour Energy Drinks backed up by Now and Laters with a side of Black Forest Gummy Bears with "Beast Mode" Marshawn Lynch on Stand By with the Skittles...as Dirk needed to be Germany's most famous Son...and he was.
OKC and Dallas go I-MAX Thriller near Deep Ellum and that busy A** I-35 at the "AA 214" and go extras to defeat the Thunder 128-119. In the grand scheme of things they needed to be over not under the .500 mark on their current home stand and they move to 3-2. The Thunder falls back behind the idle Spurs as April Fool's Day is lurking.
It was Jose Calderon who sent the game into Extras as he has been one of the Top 5 NBA Free Agent Pick Ups for 2103 and solidified that Point Guard Slot for the Mavs. The Thunder had a chance in regulation as Russell Westbrook missed and DIRK-iliscious missed at the buzzer. The Mavs took over in Overtime out scoring the Thunder 17-8 behind Dirk, Jose, Monta, and the Matrix as the Mavs make it a family Affair beating OKC.
KD goes for 43 points on 15 of 27 shooting and 5 for 11 from the Arc. He also moves that Streak for 25 points or more to 36 games chasing Air Jordan's 40 games and the late great Wilt 20k's 104 game streak...and good luck with that KD. Westbrook added 23 points, seven boards, and eight helpers as the OKC Bench was big in this one.
The Mavs get 32 points from Dirk on 11 of 23 shooting as he also added ten Oranges and six assists. This Win had much to do with Jose Calderon's play as he finished with 22 points including 6 of 9 from the Arc with eight helpers as it was paramount he matched Uncle Russ of OKC.
OKC with the "L" drops to 52-19 and 2.5 games back of the Spurs. The Mavs move to 43-29 hopping the Suns for the #8 seed as we have a Photo Finish everywhere in the Western Conference.

STARS 2 BLACKHAWKS 4...HAWKS open up on OFFENSE enough to see the Falling STARS..."FROZEN TALK" 1901 West Madison "HAWKS at 99 Pts and climbing" Episode #HAWKSnation #OneGoal #FearTheINDIANHead
The Blackhawks finally get the Offense going after that "DUD" of a game Sunday Night at the Madhouse as the Preds made it two W's in a row at the Madhouse. Hawks put 41 Frozen Ones on Net as they score in each of the Three Frames.
H3!~~60_35.jpeg)
Andrew Shaw opened up the Scoring on a backhand shot with just eight seconds remaining in the 1st frame to give the Hawks a 1-0 lead. Fear the Indian Head made it 2-0 when Kris Versteeg gets a tip-in to make it 2-0 only to see the Stars strike back midway through the 2nd on a Backhand by Ryan Garbutt to make it 2-1 Hawks. One Goal just four minutes after that goal gets a Duncan Keith Slapper to make it 3-1 after three.
Garbutt then strikes again with just under six minutes to go to make it 3-2 Hawks with Hawks Nation feeling that "No...not again". With the Nets cleared and the Stars skating six on the attack Marian Hossa goes Empty Net to give the Hawks a 4-2 "W" and 99 points on the 2013-14 season. Corey Crawford stopped 25 of 27 shots as his Dallas Counterpart Kari Lehtonen stopped 38-41 as the Hawks kept sending Frozen Ones his way.
With the "W" Fear the Indian Head moves to 42-16-15 with 99 points good for 2nd in the Central and tied for #3 in the West with Ducks with Team Teal at 101 points and the Blue Notes at 103 points.
Hawks now head East for three facing the best W-L in Ice games the Spokes of the Hub on Thursday, the Sens on Friday, and Team Happy Feet...the Pens on Sunday for some Must See Ice Games T.V..

RAPTORS 100 CAVS 102...DINOSAURS caged in "Believeland" get hit by former 'Cuse Star DION WAITERS as C-Town shocks TORONTO's Pro Hoop Squad...LOGO WATCH and who needs KYRIE when you have a 5-Star WAITER #CAVSnation #BelieveLand #TheQBusiness
They all start to count heavily talking W's and L's and the Raptors should know better than anyone as they go to Cleveland playing Believeland and get a costly "L" and the Brooklyn Nets have to be elated.
The Cavs led 26-17 after one jumping out behind he play of Dion Waiters, Jarrett Jack, Luol Deng, and Spencer Hawes. They continued that in the 2nd and move to 59-45 lead at the break knowing the Dinosaurs were going to make a few NBA-Type Runs in the 2nd half. That halftime lead ballooned to as much as 19 pints by the score 79-60 with just over 5 minutes to go in the 3rd. The Raptors then making that patented NBA-Type Run closed that deficit to 88-81 after three.
The game then turned to nip and tuck in the 4th with the Cavs clinging on to a 97-96 lead with just over four minutes. Both the Raptors and Cavs the last 4 minutes plus struggled to make plays as the Cavs walk away with a 102-100 "W". The Raptors got back in the game with a +30 advantage from the Arc. The Cavs were +10 from the Stripe and shot over 50% from the Field with a +11 rebounding margin and in the end those numbers sunk the Dinosaurs.
Waiters led the Cavs with 24 points and seven helpers. Kyle Lowry led the Dinosaurs with 22 points and ten assists but more importantly Toronto is just 1.5 games up on the Brooklyn Nets in the Atlantic. To make matters worse the Bulls jump to the #3 seed in the East and leap frog the Raptors in the East.

BLAZERS 85 MAGIC 95...RIP City looking for a "W" and MICKEY and MINNIE find themselves part of the "MOUSE Town MAGIC" Hoop Highlights...LOGO WATCH near International Drive with the O-MAGIC #MAGICnation #MAGUCfever #OMagicHoops
The Portland Trailblazers Check Engine Light has been On and then it went to Service Engine Soon. Now they lose in Mouse Town to the O-Magic and they have an Emissions Test Deadline among others things going on with that Blazer Mania Engine.
The Blazers having lost eight of their last eleven fell behind by 14 points after three frames after leading the Magic after one by the score of 26-23. Down by as much 16 in the 4th the Magic stun them Blazers sending them from at one point competing for the Northwest title to now falling into the back half of the Top Eight Teams in the West.
The Magic wins 95-85 as Nikola Vucevic had 22 points and eleven boards behind Magic 3rd-year SF Tobias Harris. Harris came out of the Pen to get a game-high 25 points and haul in eleven Oranges. The O-Magic Back Court of Rook Star Victor Oladipo and Arron Affalo combined for 23 points, eight boards, and eleven helpers while committing eight turnovers. The Magic just got in front of the Blazers and Rip City could not recover.
The Blazers again without L-Train Aldridge have been struggling mightily as they have no real Inside Presence. Yes Big Robin Lopez led with 20 points and thirteen boards but that is few and far between as the Blazers don't get that Offensive Production every night from Lopez. Wes Matthews added 18 and Damian Lillard 17 as they were the only three Blazers in double figures. On a 2nd Night of a Back to Back Motel Swing as the Blazers lost in Miami last night 93-91...they needed this one in the worst way!
Blazers fall to 45-27 just a 1/2 game up on the #6 Warriors. The Magic headed for Lottery Heaven needs to lose a few more to get more Lottery Balls...what are they doing #Tank4Jabari.

Top 5 Starting PITCHERS in the SHOW for 2014....We live in a "KERSHAW World" but we also live in a "DARVISH World"...who comes in at Three through Five in "MONSTERS on the BUMP" #MLB
There is no doubt in any ones 162-Game Mind that Clayton Kershaw is the #1 Starter on the Bump in both leagues as we enter 2014. He is the clear cut #1 pitcher but Japan Import and Rangers Ace Yu "I Will Survive" Darvish is straight Butta...not Parkay. Darvish improved his ERA and led the Show in K's with his "I can throw one of Five Pitches at anyone in the Count" Approach. After Darvish and Kershaw who is left...the Dynamic Duo from Comerica, the "Emerald City Crusader" in Kid Felix of the M's , the Fish Fernandez, Redbirds Wainright, Bumgarner of the Gigantes, or even "S2" with a NATitude?
Top 5 "MONSTERS on the BUMP" for 2014 in order:
1. Clayton Kershaw #DodgerBlue @ClaytonKersh22
Made his debut at the ripe age of 20 with Dodger Blue from Highland Park, Texas HS and was Teammates with Lions QB Matthew Stafford on the Baseball Team. C'mon a 1.83 ERA at 16-9 as he took the Stitched One every 5th day going 33 of 33 starts and collected his 2nd NL CY Young Award (2011/2013 Winner) finishing 2nd in 2012. Then you open your Chops about his 84 Months worth $215 Large and you don't even ask MLB Hitters what's it like facing 22 in Dodger Blue. He is the Man on the Bump you would ant to start any Franchise with and if you say no...your a Dodger Hater and what's that got to do with anything 22 in Dodger Blue can do you Mother Goose Dr. Seuss!
2. Yu Darvish #Rangers @Faridyu
He is simply a monster as he teased us in his 2012 season getting acclimated to MLB Hitters as well as the Living in North Texas. His "Stuff" has "Stuff" and he can deliver that Rawlings Stitched One like The Black Mamba from the Lake Show could give it to you One on One...how do you want it? He lowered his ERA by a full point from 3.90 to 2.83. He led the Milky Way Galaxy in K's with 277 and that is Punching some folks out. He pitched 209 plus innings and gave up a poultry 146 hits....Osaka, Japan stand up and give your boy a "Round of Applause"...and Rangers Nation your next with a Standing O...Darvish is the Man on the Junior Circuit!
3. Max Scherzer #MotorCityKitties @MadMaxComerica
He out pitched his Teammate and grabbed the 2013 AL Cy Young Award and all that was highlighted by Scherzer starting for the AL in the Mid Summers Classic. He also started 12-0 setting a Franchise Record and finished 21-3 with a 2.90 ERA with 240 K's. He took the Stithced One 32 of 32 Opportunities rolling in 214 plus Innings allowing just 152 to hit Ash. Maple or Bamboo for safe hits. All Rise (including Tina Turner) for "Mad Max beyond Comerica"!
4. Justin Verlander #MotorCityKitties @JustinVerlander
Ok he went 13-12 with a 3.46 ERA and had some outing s that led people to believe is he having an off year or is he on the decline every so slightly...Stop It! Look in your Webster's Dictionary and look up "Express" Verlander is your 4th Definition. He has been clocked back at 2012 Verlander-Like Express Numbers in Spring Training and what is a little concerning is 218 plus Inning allowing 212 Hits but still managing to strikeout 217 hitters. The "Law of Averages" states he will have a bounce back year and that doesn't bode well for the AL Central at all!
5. Cliff Lee #PhightinPhils
I having a little bit of trouble putting him in the Top until I take in consideration his 2013 Numbers with on a bad team. He grabbed Rawlings Stitched One all 31 of 31 as he struck out 222 hitters with 32 Free Passes...Thirty-Two Walks are you kidding me! Yes he was 14-8 with a 2.87 ERA but that K/BB Ratio is off the charts. After Kershaw he might be the best Lefty Starter in the Show (David Price Rays) and at 35 he shows no real signs of slowing down and that might keep the Phils out of the red in 2014.
Best of the Rest...
